I honestly didn't have a problem with grinding a bit for the tokens, but to be fair, I have a fairly high tolerance for grinding. Still, I think I cracked 5 million on my first attempt, so I wasn't that far away to begin with. It's a fun stage if you like the run-and-gun style, but I feel like Mega Man is a bit too slow compared to the enemies. Also, there's a way to get Magnet Beam, but it's pretty hard to get out of there safely.
Honestly a pretty great stage, though the Token requirements are a literal grind. Believe it or not, my biggest issue with this stage is not the Tokens or Assault Man's janky movements, or the potential enemy spam. Actually my issue is that the stage can sometimes crash at random, and if that happens you are pretty much gonna have to start the stage over from the start as the checkpoint saver doesn't exactly save the score you had. I wish Zatsu actually let people playtest his entry. I offered to but he said he didn't want any playtesters.
How random are those crashes? I've played this stage about half-a-dozen times and never encountered a single crash. Maybe I'm just lucky? Also not allowing any playtesters? 😬 I feel as though a decision like that could've potentially been catastrophic if Zatsu had missed a potentially fatal bug and could've dropped the level WAAAAY lower into Tier 3. Like I understand wanting noone to see what you made as a surprise factor, but with the amount of custom programming involved? I wouldn't have risked it, but that's my opinion.
Also, if you look closely at the ice encasing Freeze Man, you might notice that there's a gatcha capsule inside. However, none of the weapons seem to work to break him out.

@@grimspecs4752 I had it crash a couple times. I remember one time was simply using Water Shield on Doe Joe
Wait, he said he didn't want ANY playtesters? Jeez. Flashman's last sentence was absolutely on point, then.

…Oh. Now I get it.
What's going on here? That's 2 in a row. I expect that in the lower ranks, not here.
