I want to give you an overview of my bathroom it's definitely dated and needs a makeover. The thermofoil is peeling from the cabinet doors and cabinet base. I will be painting the walls, I removing and install a new faucet and sink drain, update the toilet lever and decorate the space to match my aesthetic.
I am using my trusty heat gun to remove the thermofoil from the cabinet doors and cabinet base. All you need to do is heat the thermofoil up and it's easy as 123 as you can see my cabinet doors and base are in perfect condition. I cleaned any residue using my Denatured and gave them a light sand to get them ready for painting. I will use primer and then I will will give them two coats of the paint of my choice which is Tricorn Black

First of all. Hats off to you Mrs Shanna 🎩 and fist bumps 👊🏽👊🏽...you did your thang, not thing!! The good thing about paint is that it’s paint and you can always change it. That original color will be back again 😀 blessings and a speedy recovery to your husband 🙏🏽
I must say I believe that color will be coming back too! It's all about trending. I am not going get rid of my burgundy it's a beautiful color. I packed it away for now. Thank You for watching. I am currently Reno another bathroom in my home and I not afraid to get my hands dirty I even painted the ceiling. Pace yourself take your time chip at it day by day. I appreciate your support. When I learned that I can peel that thermal foil off with that heat gun I decided I was not going to pay anybody any money for cabinets paint them yourself and they will look very professional and follow my steps with using the Denature alcohol it cleans up overspill really good.
