Great to see these brushes in action. I’ve looked at them in Typo but couldn’t decide if I wanted them. They look good! I might need to pick up a set. Cute painting; I only learned a few years ago that Lorikeets nest in tree hollows. We saw one squeeze into a tree hole, and then it popped it’s head back out to look at us. Hilarious and adorable! 😂

Yes they are a lot of fun, very loose and easy to use, but I suppose much like using watercolour. I am yet to use them direct onto a pallet to then add water to and use as watercolour, but I imagine that would be good for more subtle colours or faded background work. And yes, lorikeets are very entertaining birds, very territorial about their hollows too!

Awesome work! The colors are really vibrant and work so well together.

As always great video and painting..those lovely birds show up from few brush strokes and lines..and last but not least you're an excellent photographer 🦜🦜

The painting turned out super cute! The colors overall and the wood texture looked great and then you really pulled it all together with the minimal line work that you added.
These pens look fun to play around with but they're not something I'd use seriously. I have too many high quality art supplies that barely get used to justify buying cheap, fugitive watercolor pens 😂

Thank you so much, that's very nice of you to say.
They are definitely fun for playing around with, but you're right not something for serious work unless you just wanted to make a print from it.
