I wish my S3 ran as good as this S2. My bike loses the will to live between 4-5000 (only when hot??) and then really runs out of power at 7500.

usaisalwaysnumber1 show me one going faster. I'm roughly 200lbs and have seen this speedo at approx 106 mph. this video shows it stopped at 100.

itsWOAR well back in the day..im now 60 do the math 1975..i had a 350 triple would do 137 top end.had a 500 triple its top at 145.had a 750 triple and it would break the speedometer cable in 3rd gear..yours is sick.rejet the carbs to lean it down a bit not bigger jets and leave the oil injection alone.most people morons especialy -go bigger jets that's the idiots leaner means more heat and more speed.the way to jet one is to listen to it.smaller jets it will what mechanics call itll start 4 stroking when it does that jump up one size jet and you have it.red line isn't shit on a two stroke my 750 would turn 9500 rpms and it never hurt it...but it would break the speedometer cable in 3rd gear..now that's a muscle bike.what you have is what we called a sunday rider..LMAO

usaisalwaysnumber1 wow, those are some crazy unbelievable numbers there. just a fyi, I am a motorcycle mechanic of over 10 years and consider my self somewhat of a vintage Japanese specialist. I'm very proud of my tuning abilities and can assure you this bike isn't sick at all. it has healthy compression and runs cleanly into the redline area... and it's top speed is approx 106mph+/-... were you doing lots of mushrooms back then which might have clouded your memory?? or possibly you had the Canadian varients which has speedos in kph?

usaisalwaysnumber1 Theres not a thing wrong with this bike...its a near stock and reliable Everyday rider that will take you cross country as long as you keep gas in it....and it has Stock Kawasaki spec gearing 14/43 which puts it at redline at about 105mph. If it were geared to go almost 140, it would be a perfect Bonneville bike and would be absolutely useless on public streets. A 60 or 70mph 1st gear should be reserved for a modern liter bike, not a vintage 350. Again, this is a common streetbike that lends itself perfectly as such. Jetting? any leaner and piston crowns will exit the exhaust port. ** No plug fouling and it cleanly revs into the red...nice job.
"itswoar" your 43 year old 350cc vintage motorcycle runs like a bat out of hell and is probably the wildest sounding machine that I have ever ridden next to...and isnt it nice to OWN and RIDE one of these whenever you want in the year 2017?
      Cheers
