No problem and has another viewer pointed out you can change the suspension with the left hand switch gear and overall ride mode with the right hand switch gear. But the DTC has to be accessed through the menus on the TFT.
There is another, simpler way that gives limited options to mix and match the mode and suspension settings without having to change what settings you have in the dynamic pro mode. If you select what "Mode" you want 1st on the RH switch gear, lets say you want Dynamic mode. When you do this changes everything (Throttle response, ABS, TCS and the Suspension) to Dynamic. But... you can then use the LH switchgear to change the suspension setting independent of the Mode you've just chosen. So lets say yo've done the above so everything is on Dynamic and you're on a nice smooth road surface but then get to a section of road with a poor surface. Using the LH suspension button you can then change (just) the suspension to Road to soften things up but it will then leave everything else in Dynamic. Then when you get back to a nice section, using that left suspension button you can change the suspension back to Dynamic or use the RH mode button which would do the same thing. Another example is you want Road mode but Dynamic suspension. To do this use the RH Mode button and select Road. This puts evering thing in Road mode. Then use the LH suspension button to select Dynamic. This the changes the suspenaion to Dynamic, but leaves everything else (Throttle, ABS and TCS) in Road mode.
Thanks for checking out the video and your suggestion. When I find myself on a bumpy back road I do exactly what you said. I use the LH switchgear to change the suspension from Dynamic to Road for a more comfortable ride. However the question the viewer had was asking about DTC not suspension. He wanted to have maximum engagement of DTC while in road mode. To customize these settings you can only do that under Dynamic Pro mode in the TFT. Setting the engine to Road mode in the TFT menu then setting the DTC to Rain for early or maximum intervention is what he's looking for. In this case, using the LH switchgear would not impact the DTC. This setup would be the safest way to ride by suppressing wheelies and faster recovery from any tire slippage.
@@Texas2Tires wow cool, I never thought of using that as the discription (Dynamic Pro) is a bit misleading then and wasn't aware the dtover behind ther other chap's question was about the TCS. Maybe they should call it Custom Pro instead. I can't say I've ever needed anything other than the stock settings or the mode/suspension combo I've highlighted above but this certainly opens up.more possibilities should I need them in the future.
@@Bazza47 Yes Custom Pro would be a much better name. I'm with you, the default riding modes are plenty for me. I'm 95% riding around in Dynamic Pro mode engine , DTC and Suspension. The very few times I got caught in rain, I hit up the rain mode. After three years, I'm still loving the RS, it's such a fun bike.
First I want to thank you for making a new video just to answer my question, you are the best, you answered my question, thank you very much

Great info my friend! Thanks for sharing, ride safe 🙏
Thanks, you too!
