    My learnings
    1) - Active- Recall method for short term revision
    2) - Explain each topic to invisible audience 😅 ...Feyman techniue
    3) - Use Spaced revision techniques ...use app like REVU - Spaced Repetition
    4) - Create a todo list for each .....use app like like todoist
    5) - Disciple and consistency ....

    After each class, do we just study our notes right away or do we block that time in to study later at a specific time? What's the best way for remembering and being able to recall the stuff you learned in class?

    • @MentalFitness-ThePocketMentor
      @MentalFitness-ThePocketMentor  2 роки тому +4

      The more you interact with the information and the more varied ways you interact with it the more paths you're building in our brain to that information increasing likelihood of remembering it (e.g. reading it, writing notes on it, singing it to a tune, building key points into a visual story, using it in a real life scenario).
      Experiment with what works best for you and your workload and schedule, being mindful the brain needs rest to work optimally too!
      A short 2 minute review at the end of the study session works well and then try a weekly review where you review your notes from the week.

    Isn't determining how many Pomodoro sessions a specific task might take essentially focusing on the time a task might take which contradicts Tip 2? Though I do strongly agree with Tip 2!

    Can anyone explain what is 2 pomodoro session?

    • @sonia-md1ow
      @sonia-md1ow 3 роки тому +2

      so one pomodoro session is 25 minutes of study plus a 5 minute break. Two pomodoro sessions would just be doing that twice. So you’d study for 25 minutes, take a break, and then study for another 25 minutes and take another break. The video was saying that it’s okay if a task takes you two pomodoro sessions instead of one.

    • @Ziyor

      @@sonia-md1ow Oh I see thank you

    • @abhamahant9878
      @abhamahant9878 3 роки тому +1

      2 pomodoro means double the one pomodoro instead of going for 25 min on and 5 min off you can do 45 min on and 15 minutes off.
