Volvo s40 Trunk won't open with key fob or electric push button - Wiring problem fixed

If one day, you go to open your trunk, by either pushing the button on the key fob or by pushing the button release in the glove box and find that it doesn't open... there is a 90% chance the wiring has broken and is no longer getting power to the rear latch.
This is a repair video for the do-it-yourselfer to follow as guidance to repair the non-functioning trunk release.
