Really enjoyed your chatting about your impressions of the different foam configurations! I feel like it’s super helpful context for the sound tests given how difficult it seems to be get a true to life sound through a recording. Also super intrigued by the stabs, I really want to try doing a heat shrink mod on some cherry clip ins or durocks, seems like it’d be far more durable than holeemodding, and much less time-consuming! Just need to find the right size heat shrink.
Yeah these stabs are crazy good. Getting closer to no lube needed and I’m here for it! I tried the heat shrink thing in the past but it always made the wires too tight in durocks maybe the cherrys are better, or I didn’t used too thick of a heat shrink lmao

You’ll have to assemble unfortunately, but they sell everything you need during group buys. They started the GB for the 98 version, you may have to wait for the 75

Destroy? Not sure about that, but it will alter the mid range a bit. Although they sound similar, different switches do have variations with pe foam no matter what people say. 🤘🤘🤘
Which should i buy? QK75 or Zoom75 ? Any clues if QK75 will have rgb in the future ?
Tough, I like the look of the qk but no lcd and no rgb. Sound will be up to you. You can check the vids for sound. Qk has more options for feel but no non-flex cut pcb version. If your looking for clack it may not be the choice
How is the input lag of this keyboard? I planned to play competitive with a custom keyboard but some customs might have a lot of input lag.
I wouldn’t recommend if your trying to be the very best 😂. It’s rated at 1000hz wired and through 2.4ghz dongle. The huntsman and other boards are like 8000hz lol. Will you notice the Real world difference 🤷♀️ maybe. If you really want a competitive custom. I would do a hybrid build with the pcb and switches from the wooting60 implanted in a 60 percent case like a tofu 60 or something similar. Badseed tech has a video on this, it may just be hard to source a compatible 60% case.

I had the ducky one 2 TKL before and did switch to huntsman for the optical reds but was dissapointed that mine had problems with latency which I figured out later but It´s the older version. before the ducky one 2 TKL I had the 60% Anne Pro 2 but it was small for me.
but you are right. I think something like wooting, apex pro or huntsman v2 are the best bet for lower latency. I just wanted something that is also hot swappable since I like tactiles but the top tier analog keyboards are all linears for a reason.

It’s was fine with the flex cut pcb. I talk about this a little later in the video.

Yup! you can remap everything. Just make sure you map a dedicated function button to control the screen.

Yeah that weird side profile/shape is fuckin ugly. But it does look really good from other angles. It’s a weird one. Don’t know why because the box-on-wedge they had before was beautiful
