Only Up is what I plan to make for some uni assignment and Only Up 2 is what I turn in after procrastinating for two weeks and doing it all between 2am and 6am pumped full on caffeine and adhd meds.
Watching him come to the realization it was fake and then listening to his PC go into overdrive live was hilarious and tense. Half expected the stream to crash as the ransomware took over! 😅

Just saying: YOU could have made this game. It's pretty much as simple as it gets. Even the animations and climbing system is free to take from an animation pack in Unreal Engine.

the first one was a scam even, more than just being an uninspired asset flip (compared to getting over it, a very interesting and intentional asset flip, with a unique and consistent aesthetic) it just dumped a bunch of NFT adverts all over the place for stuff the creator had stakes in iirc
they shouldve made this game like 5x harder and just slightly longer for the 2 hour runtime so you cant request a refund from steam

Only up and this game use a free Unreal character controller that anyone can go and download. Almost none of the actual mechanics of the game were made by the original devs. Slow mo, mantling, etc are all already apart of the character controllers
