1) My MIL gave me her Bernina for Christmas since she doesn't sew anymore! I feel like such a grown up!! 2) I seam rip jeans for upcycling while we watch t.v. It's GREAT for managing anxiety. 3) I love making t-shirt totes with graphics and themed/coordinating interiors. I recently made one with Ralphie and "You'll Shoot Your Eye Out!" on the outside and a vintage twin sheet with a horseshoe print inside. I have a "The Dude Abides" shirt for which I am on the hunt for bowling-related fabric when I thrift.
Your totes are going to be so cute! I hope you find that bowling theme fabric. I've had good luck hunting on Etsy for specialty fabric. Thanks for watching!
Angela, I am binging on your videos today. This is a year late, but I am so sorry for the loss of your Sammy. ❤ Would also like to tell you how much I enjoy your quirky sense of humor. The sound effects, and film clips crack me up. When I was a middle school math teacher, I had a sound board that I used to entertain myself with in the classroom. One of my favorites was the old Tarzan, and Jane’s, jungle call. I have no idea if the students thought it was funny. Parent - teacher conferences were sometimes, uh, interesting. Hahaha
I used to teach middle school as well, Julie! No wonder we have the same humor. 😂 I taught choir and general music- the kids nick named me “The Frizz” from the Magic School Bus.
