so that the same companies can make more profit from illegally cutting in the same area in 20years? Lets be honest, you guys need to get your politics under control. I know they're corrupt, but they can also be toppled. Ceausescus regime was as well and you got rid of him. Mossy Earth can't save your country, and 120'000 trees wont do much. Logging your own forests can provide your own people with jobs and boost your own countries exports. Coupling that with a reforestation-law you can continue this cycle for centuries. Having all this given to foreign companies with foreign employees and so on in exchange for some few corrupt dicks being bribed ultimately lowers your countries wealth. This simple argument should be able to resonate with most people strong enough, to implement a change of law by political referendum, or whatever tools you guys have to intervene into politics.
@@dominikgadze4221 First of all, all of Europe is corrupt, just look at the Qatar and Eva Kaili corruption scandal. It's just that our DNA (not the biological kind, anti corruption department) in the last 10 years has been on a corruption hunt, headed by Codruta Kovesi, who is now the head of the European anti corruption department, she has been promoted by the EU. Romanians aren't stupid, we know that foreign countries, especially Austria do most of the illegal logging in my country and also play with the numbers. Because of climate change, now trees grow faster than the antiquated measuring techniques from 40 years ago say. Someday, maybe. Until then, whatever can be done is a godsend.
Oh absolutely ! This is such a positive contribution I really love it !More like this please, preferently all over the world, and to get there my dear friends we should adjust our natural product demands from the forest, for if no products are requested then no supply is needed!
As a Romanian, thank you very much for all your work. It's so sad to see our beautiful landscapes destroyed like this by greed, lack of morals and corruption on a large scale.
You’re doing a great thing, providing excellent stewardship of your forests. Plant, protect and include variety in the trees as best you can.
You guys restore my faith in humanity
Thanks! - Cheers, Duarte
Your work is so important! Greetings from Germany

Thank you Patrik! :) - Cheers, Duarte
This is brilliant news, keep planting people!.
I found this channel not too long ago. I sadly can't donate or become a member because I'm broke, but the least I can do is a view, a like, a comment and a subscription. I live pretty close to your reforestation project. I'm in the Balkans. I love what your doing for the planet and I support it 😊
Hi David, a like and a thoughtful comment like this one go a long way for us :) Much appreciated my friend! - Cheers, Duarte
We have a beautiful country that we do not know how to value. Your gesture of helping Romania is wonderful.
I've heard similar theories about storm sensitivity after logging here in Sweden. Southern Sweden was hit by a huge storm about a decade ago and the damages was huge. The storm was called Gudrun if you want to look for it in the archives.
Glad to see another great video. With a cool update as well always great to see.
Thank you Edward! - Cheers, Duarte
I think it would be cool if there was merch so we could also show our support on top of being a member
Need to figure out how to do this without creating more waste 🧐 Ive added this to the ideas list! - Cheers, Duarte
you guys are legends
Thanks! - Cheers, Duarte
Good job guys!!!!!
Great stuff as always guys!
Thank you Mathieu! - Cheers, Duarte
Thanks!
So good to see our four year planting area doing so well. How many of my jackets were you wearing throughout the video? ,😉
At least 3! 😂
Congrats! Feels good to see projects like this popping up all across Europe
Also sow grass and flower seed to bind the soil and compliment the trees.
We have other understory restoration projects and we will pass some of that knowledge to this project in the coming years :) - Cheers, Duarte
LOL the clip of the wolf taking a dump
But those drone shots with hte logged patches of forest are heartbreaking. I can't even imagine the amount wildlife that was probably killed in the process. But your channel is very inspiring and gives me a little bit of hope for the future of the planet.
Great work. 🤗😎
Thank you Gail! - Cheers, Duarte
As a Hungarian whose family hails from Transylvania, I applaud your work. I'll make sure to make a donation once the next payday comes around.
