I don't think some of the things written below are fair. My dear ex wife and I went to Moffitt Canc er Center in Tampa in 2014 when she was in Stage IV of a rare form of Non-Hodgkin's. WE ARE NOT RICH! The people at Moffitt are wonderful. It is a research facility. I agree with everything PG and Maeve said. I am also a music business person but not world famous. The dialogue we opened with people with Moffitt was amazing. They specialize. I agree that ALL the information should be spread out like doctors without borders and the ridiculous blockades of political prejudice and religious intolerance that get in the way of communication should be pulled down in the name of saving lives. My wife survived and is living a happy life. They saved her life in 10 months. We are the best of friends.

Congratulations for having access to this treatment for your wife, I’m glad to hear she survived thanks to it.
I agree with what you said. The fact that this treatment is not more widely available is not Peter’s fault and, in fact, he’s been denouncing this situation. He is the first one to admit he could only get access to this treatment because he had the means to do it, and he went to a conference in the Vatican to talk about how unfair this situation is. But he did what he had to do to save his wife’s life. Who, in his position, wouldn’t have done the same?

Interesting interview. Scary that people in general don't have access to new therapies.

Indeed. And this is one of the things he puts emphasis on.

They will eventually. Blame government regulation.

The average person can’t afford this treatment.

I think it's just a question of business, for the pharmaceutical companies, and induced earnings, to the detriment of people's lives. Sad but true.

not necessarily. If you have a family member who is in the medical profession, you have a head start. There are a lot of experimental trials. Which sounds similar to what's happened here.

Yes, what Peter found was an experimental treatment, which luckily worked like a charm.

It's a shame Peter is talking with a fraud.
