Rita has her mother’s remarkable sense of pitch, especially when she’s playing her special low pressure trombone in ensemble. ❤️
Thank you Rita! and the band!
she's able to sing it all
Sensacional, incrivelmente belo!
Cool
Indeed Cool Jazz fine arangement
You know what else Rita's got.... a whole lot of talent !!!!
Amen! Yes! I'm 83 and have been around long enough to know it when I I see it! Her pedigree helps as well!
What a weird song.
Rita! Jaw dropping interpretation. Nina Simone is surely smiling at this. Also vastly better than in the live version of 'Hair' I saw in the 70's.
Tinc l'àlbum!!!! Una joia. La feina d'aquests músics és espectacular. No us el perdeu!
I have the album!!!! A jewel. The work of these musicians is spectacular. Do not miss it!
One word. Dissonant. Beautifully, ironically, dissonant. Lyrically and sonically. Be safe, Rita.
Bloody perfect....
gorgeous
It's all about feeling and Rita Payes has it.
Gorgeous! Buy the album folks. Just listened to Love Me or Leave Me, on the album..the way they mix a fugue in is so gorgeous and unexpected, but then, given the motive of the tune, so logical. This is such a great band, i also love what they produce, sonically, with the three horns at unison...really wonderful..
I agree! This new song is great, but those on the album are gorgeous! They are full-in bluesy, close in their harmonies and perfect in the solos! Add Rita's voice, grown-up, presented better than ever before!
I got emotional
Rita Payes is the ultimate!
Dig your voice and playing.
This arrengsment is so great and played with such beauty, Rita song and tromboneplay are of the higest standard. What can I say. A superstar is going on surprising me.(is it possible
to be surprised any more ?) Like this funk.sole jazz styel really much ! Pleast come band play in Denmark after the pandemich is ower .I be the first to by a ticket.
Nicely played guys and Rita.
did Nina really sing the word Boobies! its a really funny word in English, Tetas sounds better. what a brilliant singer, this girl.
Yes!
Thumbs up. Marti? Damn right! Y'all just refuted Ortega y Gasset: circumstances don't matter at all. Ben fet.
Hahaha! Gràcies!
So cool ! (and technically very clean)
Lindo, lindo!🇧🇷
Great Performance and arrangement !
Esto es lo mejor q escuche en los últimos 3 años Piel de gallina🤯
Nice arangement!!!!!
Thank you so much! I'm glad you liked it.
I'm cross. A long time fan of all the Catalan Jazz, that emerged from Joan Chamorro's efforts, including Rita Payes. So why have I taken so long to find this?
Tight playing, great arrangement and sensational vocals. Perfect.
Strange Fruit. Just wow! I need the album.
A wonderful song, brilliantly played and brilliantly sung!
Yet I wonder if it's in the "Nina" album - it's missing in the song list on the homepage, martiserra.com/album/songs-nina-sang
Thank you Paul! No, it's not. It's a new arrangement we recorded during the covid-19 lockdown.
@@martiserra It's amazing! Curious to hear the other songs, going to get me the CD!
I was privileged to see Nina Simone in Ronnie Scotts many years ago. Obviously this band's take on the songs is different but creative and enjoyable. I would love to see them live but sadly that won't be possible for quite a while.
Cheers Rita..hugs.
Sweet!
Woooooooooooooooooowwwwwwwww
