The Eliminator was the only event throughout the competition where the contenders directly competed against each other rather than against the Gladiators. The Eliminator was an obstacle course that the contenders had to negotiate, and it changed several times over the years.

This was the only thing missing from the 2024 reboot.
And the Duel theme! Which was the best song on the original series

This is the one gripe I have about the new series. It’s been brilliant. But they need to retain the traditional music from Dual, Hang Tough, the Eliminator etc. Apart from that it’s been excellent.

It’s a shame the new Gladiators show has forgettable generic music for the events and not the classic bangers from the 90’s show.

Yes! On the show they used an instrumental version. That part of the song reminds me of climbing a net for some reason.

I can confirm that this version was on the Gladiators Soundtrack CD I should know I still have the CD
