Yeah, we all know in the 80s these cartoons were merely toy commercials. But they were freaking awesome and really went all out with the intro songs. That's how you give an 80s kid an awesome childhood and scream, "Shut up and take my parents money!"
The main problem with M.A.S.K, other than the obvious helmet thing, was that the toys weren't very good. Transformers and G.I. Joe toys were a lot better built.

How is it possible that the 80's had it better with almost every form of entertainment? Still, this theme song slaps hard. So does Galaxy Rangers, Jayce and the Wheeled Warriors and Saber Rider and the Star Sheriffs.
I wouldn't say that. I mean, if I saw "The Matrix" or "Blade" or LOTR or "Avengers: Endgame" in the 80s my face would have melted clean off my skull. Not to mention video games, TV shows, and the freaking internet. There was some good stuff back then, but it's no contest.

Man, those were the days! Unfortunately today's world isn't near enough exciting and fun and innocent like back in the 80s & 90s. Anyone at age 40+ will agree with me! We are the last generation that lived such moments because the world was more pure and fun not like the years we are living now!
I found the motorcycle in my school field one night during an event where we could win junk food and play games. Went home with a cake, 6 pack of coke, and the cycle copter. Best day of my childhood.

A GI Joe: Real American Hero, Transformers, and MASK shared cinematic universe that really tries to capture the feel and characters of the original franchises. Hasbro, make it happen!
80s and 90s cartoons had the best theme tunes ever. Denver the last dinosaur had a god tune, so many, especially MASK. Good times. Do they even make good cartoons for children anymore?
@Retromania22It's not 1985 anymore, though. Kenner has been dead for almost a quarter century. They used to own the IP, and when Hasbro acquired Kenner back in 2000, it acquired the M.A.S.K. IP with it. So Hasbro fully owns all three franchises, and it has even allowed for crossovers between the three franchises in the Transformers and G.I. Joe comic books, the three franchises already existed in the same continuity when Hasbro licensed them out to IDW, and it looks like it is establishing a similarly shared universe between Transformers, GI Joe and MASK in its new comic book multiverse. Considering the success of the Marvel cinematic universe, how the cross pollination allowed them to turn even some previously less popular comics (at least to mainstream audiences) into household names (Guardians of the Galaxy being one example), and how well Transformers, GI Joe, and MASK mesh together in terms or style and tone, it would be a missed opportunity for Hasbro not to create a shared cinematic universe where fandoms of each individual franchise will be enticed to go see the movies of the other two franchises due to the cross pollination between them. It's a huge opportunity to let GI Joe and MASK profit from the mainstream popularity of the Transformers and bring GI Joe and MASK back into the mainstream.
There was a setup for a cross over in Transformers Prime since both the GI Joe's Skystrikers and MASK were mentioned in the third season. Why it didn't happen is something that I'm not sure of.
If there was a show that needed to be redone, MASK is certainly one of those shows! Convertable vehicles can be done better today with the use of CGI technology!
None of the agents has ever used flying saucer jets. I still do remember the 1982 video game called Time Pilot. They definitely show you flying saucer jets in the year 2001.
Seeing as no one wants to be who the they actually are.... M.A.S.K. should be the next great Hollywood-production. Hey, we could hope it turns out good.

The show is great but the theme song is a straight up jam frfr💪👑

Yup, awesome intro songs and animation that was usually at least 40% more impressive than that of the actual cartoon.

Easily one of the best cartoon theme songs ever written!

TMNT theme also a classic ✌️🔥
I tell you 80s cartoons had the absolute BEST theme songs some of the guys sang the hell out of them!
The extended synthie at the beginning is awesome. ❤❤❤❤
This cartoon is probably THE reason I bought an IROC-Z back in 2001 :)
Truly awesome, man!
They should definitely make a series of M.A.S.K. movies, they would be amazing and break box-office records.
IF they keep the woke junk out of it
Aaron Eckhart for Matt Trakker
This cartoon is a true timeless classic 👍.
80's was the BEST age of al times!!!!
each sequel to Fast & Furious saga is looking more and more like Mask
No kidding. All that is missing is for Toretto and The Family to drive transforming Vehicles.
Dont insult mask
I use to run off the bus after school so I wouldn’t miss a second of this cartoon!!!
As a child of the 80s, I approve of this message
God how this track is still banging cool after all this time!
I think its time for a live action version!😊
Of all the theme songs of the 80s cartoons this is my top number 1 #kenner we want the Shark released !

80s n 90s cartoons will never be outdone or even come close to, mask was my favorite childhood 80s show along with jayce and the wheeled warriors
I love the opening theme song. Goose bumps. It was aired on GMA 7 in the Philippines.
Would you believe it was first aired on PTV-4, then on ABS-CBN, before moving to GMA? Good times.
