I remember I actually made an extended version on cassette tape when I was a kid! I just recorded it with a little radio I had by putting it up to the television. I so Loved that cartoon and theme music. I'm 40 now and look what I'm listening to today ahahaha

I was 12 when this came out and was already a man by the time Turtles 2003 came along. Although I'm more nostalgic for this, I'd have to say the 2003 theme (and show) were superior.

My older cousin who was born in 1987 and who i shared a birthday i loved watching the turtles all time as a kid before he passed away in 2019
40 years and I'm playing shredders revenge. Many memories of being a kid in the early 90's, seeing ads in TV for happy meals in McDonald's with turtle toys and then seeing the SNES version was.. radical and over the top
Im 24, so i grew up with the 2003 TMNT on 4Kids! Every morning i was excited to watch the heroes in a half shell kick some butt lol
I had action figures, the toy of Leonardos katana (i wrote something about the Extreme Dinosaurs on it) .... Man those were the days

Saying: "Where did you get Pizza?" and 80s Raph says: "Give me a break."
Seriously, the entire episode is the 2012 turtles mocking the 80s turtles for how much they suck as ninjas. It's pretty hilarious.
@@nine_tails137 I remember the crossover between the 1987 Turtles and the 2003 Turtles kind of did something similar to that, mostly 2003 Ralph being annoyed at 1987 Ralph constantly making jokes and looking at the camera. 😂
@@orlanzo2621 Same here. Even 2003 Mikey was irritated by the 80s turtles. The literal "party Dude" can't get along with his past self! And that is hilarious! Even 2003 Shredder didn't give a crap about his 80s couterpart, and even called his foot ninja robots crap, then upgraded them to fit his liking.

Was at a 90's party at a local bar. I went up to the DJ and had him play Go Ninja go, it comes on everyone goes nuts. Shortly after a chick walks up and requests the original them it come on Everyone goes super nuts and we all started jamming out. Fantastic time.

Hello Everyone me Alexandre DJ and music producer, and I was addicted to the game and I loved this sensational game and I played it always and for many hours every day hahahaha, and sometimes I played with michangelo and raphael, but the preference was leonardo or donatello always on snes, and I love the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, and I'm a big fan too, I love the 1987 cartoon, and the fantastic music from 1987 too, and I have the 3 movies from the 90s, the Teenage Mutant movies Ninja Turtles II The Secret of the Ooze ,Teenage Mutant Ninja Turt les III - TMNT , and the Ninja Turtles are incredible and too much hahahaha , and I would be afraid of michangelo, that if I eat pizza next to him, he would eat it all and not leave a piece hahahaha, and I am 41 years old and it reminds me of my childhood, and I miss my childhood I was born in 1983 and the good times never come back, and I expect contact from konami and nintendo please, and I wish you success always from nintendo and konami, and my greetings and respect, to everyone who is a fan of ninja turtles in Brazil and in the world, Holy turtle hahahaha , and I end by saying that wonderful phrase '' COWABUNGA ' hahahaha,peace and regards from brazil sao paulo sp city.
I remember when this was aired on USA Channel, Cartoon Express in the 90s. I would spend the whole day watching TV along with Street Fighter: The Animated series, G.I. Joe and Exo-Squad. The intro music stuck in my head for years and I still love it.
Just turned 35 but this will be the all time classic ninja turtles true song!! Man takes me back to my childhood, I wish we could go back, those were the best times!!

Which version of the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles is the best? My answer: it depends on which one you grew up on. The one I grew up on was the '87 version of TMNT where the show was famous for it's theme song "Heroes In A Half-Shell! Turtle Power!" and where Hamato Yoshi and Master Splinter were one and the same character.

Born in 89 and caught the 2nd half of this series on TV in the 1993. Love the original 1987 series! The new game and the Cowabunga Collection coming out later make this a great time to be a TMNT fan! Cowabunga! TURTLE POWER!

I love the band who both made and sing this. What's funny is that the music was actually composed by Chuck Lorre, the creator of Big Bang Theory. Kuthorpolly confirmed it on the Conan Show.

Even though I'm 14 this is still my childhood, I was tearing up when I heard this again after 11 years, I remember coming back from kindergarten and me and my brother would watch Chip and Dale, TMNT or Tom & Jerry and life was good, I also remember playing the first sonic on my ipad through the emulator my brother downloaded, these were the times 😊
This is probably the only cartoon themes that really, REALLY, pumps you up! Man do I miss the good ol' TMNT.
Still I'm happy to have experienced some of the golden age of American cartoons....

I grew up on the 2012 era Nickelodeon tmnt, but I frequently watched this on UA-cam
I am 43 years old and this is a theme song that I liked when I was a kid. Now today I watch them and I look at the forms of martial arts that they use so wish I could do that. Learning the type of martial arts that they command means never having to use more force than you have to.
Watching them when I was young and again after I became an adult taught me some things about self-control and so from this cartoon I learned self control.

I had been born in 2000, well after this one aired. But when i was old enough, my dad had shown me this one, the 1987 cartoon, first and foremost. Then, it was the 2003 version. I had grown up on both, and i am so glad i did.

Wow that's mind--🤯--blowing here, I was 13 years old when this teenage mutant Ninja turtle cartoon came out and now I am 47 years old.
Oh my goodness where did the time go between 13 and 47 years old.
I never would have believe it but it's true what they say, time really does go by fast when you're having fun.
I wish we could go back to the 1980s again, I want to be a young kid or teenager again and everything was simple and easy back then
