2009 CUMMINS EGR DIFFERENTIAL PRESSURE SENSOR

Symptoms of bad EGR SENSOR includes but not limited to ; truck loosing pulling power , Regen recycles more often , check engine fault light comes on , hesitation, etc

It is rare for that sensor to go bad. What typically happens is the tube nearest the front of the engine gets clogged with carbon deposites. Undo the rubber hose where it screws into the intake (the end connected to the engine, not the sensor end). Use a metal rod break out the carbon down the hole in the intake tube. You may have to remove the intake tube to collect the carbon chunks.

I have the same engine, sir do you know where I need to unplug the EGR. Mine is leaking and I wasn’t sure if we are supposed to unplug it on the ever valve itself or is there another wire? Can you help?

Egr differencial pressure sensor part number is 2872424 for newer models l have a 2013 isx15400st
