This arrangement was just give us by the choir of Washington National Cathedral as a communion hymn during today's Transfiguration Sunday worship. That was the first time I'd heard it so came here to listen to voices more akin to those for and by those for whom it was composed.
The articulation is insane. The score itself is covered with accents and Mr. Dawson apparently meant every last one of them. It's an amazing rhythmic effect! Any idea if this recording is available anywhere?
