It's not a bad model. Its just that 3d always looks like (probably because it is) a budget saving measure so it just makes the show look like Amazon basics working man games.
It's not that 3D is inherently cheap (because it's not), it's the lack of textures. Texturing is at the very least half the work in 3D graphics. If he got a better diffuse and some normals for this thing, it would b just as good as the 2D artwork.

That’s fair on souls games. I just don’t think they’re /actually/ that difficult. They just force you to have patience, and that’s not everyone’s thing.
The 3D model looks great when it's animated, but for stills I kinda like the usual pictures better honestly.
I don't mind the 3D model either, it's just that I got used to the older style.
Both are great though!
Honestly I understand that. Switching from commissioning an existing character to your own. I think I have mostly paid for OCs vs existing character art

For me, Nickelodeon and Cartoon Network were three channels away, 47 and 50 respectively. Had Comedy Central in between that and Spike TV on 45. That channel range defined me. I feel I just doxxed myself.
Don't feel bad. As a misanthrope, Elden Ring and Witcher 3 had so much potential to show goodness and beauty beyond the human race, only to portray it as just as disposable as most games do, relying on the human image as a crutch for its sympathetic characters, when all that does is backfire immensely.

Honestly if you tweaked the lighting that would make the 3d look 10 times better, shadows make the milage more than meshes

Also I've been watching this channel for a long time and I didn't have any problems with the 3D model heck yeah my opinion the 3D model actually it's really well-made actually fit the video pretty well, so I have no idea why a lot of people we're getting man of the model though and I really don't really understand people these days.

Coyote, get them into a bootleg bar with some bootleg whiskey, then get Bubsy and Jazz to screw him in a Gloryhole, then balloon his face, legs, and hands up, then give him a green flannel jacket and you got Stuart K. Got a question stu what's your opinion on the sly cooper games?
I guess there's a differencce between "memorizing ships paterns in a brisk arcade experience" hard [Cue the Gates of Thunder segment in the Turbografix CD video] and "memorizing timing of yours and enemies' attacks to the point you can go gun-ho on them if you know what you're doing with heavy consequences for failling in a rpg size experience" hard.
Too bad you ain't much into fighting games, you miss on some good furries (Not just "lady with cat ears/some claws and pointy theeth" furry like Darkstalker's Felicia or the beast lady in Breakers, there's also "look like actual animals to some extent" furries) like the majority of the Bloody Roar cast.
P.S. Here's some questions;
• For stylish action beat em all games, are you more into;
- 1 main attack button pushed at specific rythms for the different combos with 1 gun/secondary type of action button (Ex; Devil May Cry). The type of strings being mainly "Attack, attack, attack" or "Attack, pause, attack attack", with the gun, taunts, and the styles actions of later DMC games as stuff you can do but aren't necesserly part of a core combo. Or rather, I see it as the weapon attack button as the pivot point of all of this as far as I know.
- 1 attack button for weapon A and another for weapon B (Ex; Bayonetta). The type of strings being more like A and B alterning. Also, dodging is a core part in some of the possible combos. It's my favorite system personally, it feels like your weapons are equals in that set-up. Not to say the other systems aren't enjoyable, this is just the system I personally prefer.
- Same as the previous one, but it's varying between light and heavy (Metal Gear Rising/Nier Automata), sometimes with projectiles as their own button instead of being weapon A or B (or, in the case of Bayonetta, a pistol who isn't really used for combos and more to interact with the environement when it's not the button you pushed for opening a text box at a prompt or the main button used during the QTEs except when it's one of the attack button depending of the scene).
- 1 light attack and 1 heavy attack with the heavy being often used as a combo ender (The original God of War trilogy, and the Dynasty Warriors games since the second one). With also a button for special contextual stuff (God of War QTEs or the "Musso attack"). The strings are more "[a series of "light" eventually finishing by a "Heavy]". Sometimes, I feel Nier Automata belongs to this category even if the closest thing to a "special contextual stuff " in the game are pressing the 2 joystics for a certain amount of time to self-destruct or going berserk if you're A2 .
• Your general opinion on the Dynsasty Warrior/Musso genre (if you're familiar with it); Too casual for its own good or not?

Oh and Spaz isn't renamed in the UK version of the Jazz series but I do feel its possibly one of the reasons Epic games wont bring the jazz jackrabbit cast to Fortnite or even make new games yet they put posters of him in the main battle royale map (hidden) and in some promotional events (like Kid Laori event)
Btw a question for ya:
Do you hate it when you play a JRPG where you can only progress through just forced grinding and spaming the confirm button, rather than have actual good tactics and rewarded for it?
Great example of a JRPG that rewards you progress for playing smart rather than grinding is the "Shin Megami Tensei series" those games don't focus so much on story, part of the charm is the constant battle planing and team comp set ups where you need the right type of demons to win a battle (think of it like poke'mon but not for babies)
I just can't get into the poke'mon games they're too easy and too mind numbing dull to play that I have to play a tactical rpg or if a JRPG it's something from atlus like Shin megami tensei where im rewarded for playing smart rather than just spamming A button to grind n overwhelm a boss like most shitty jrpgs.

idk im newer to the channel, been here since i saw your army man vids, and i dont think i even saw them when they came out, but i subbed due to them...
anyway i liked your current/old 2D look alot cuz it kinda reminds me of looney tunes artstyle, i think...at least that's what it reminds me of but i might be confusing it with something else it reminds me of, but i cant think of what that might be...plus its one of the best cases of "voices that fit the character" ive seen, it also kinda feels looney tunes-y. i like it!
i also am not personally a fan of the 3D model compared to the 2D one...mainly cuz the 2D one seems to fit better for the reasons above, the 3D one seems kinda....like it looks like an inflated balloon caricature or something, and the voice i'd imagine is more cartoony in kind of a clowny/silly kinda way, if that makes sense...just feels off compared with the voice imo.

I will never give a Souls game a chance, unless they started having easier difficulties for newcomers, it was novel when Demon's Soul did it back in the day, considering a lot of 7th gen games were getting way too scripted and easy, but they don't have that excuse anymore.
So, unless they can provide an (OPTIONAL) easier difficulty, they can take their gatekeeping, shove it up their asses, and I will continue ignoring these game, no matter how many people keep praising them.
Before opinions answering the video title get listed, I don't see the problem with not liking Elden Ring. No game is made for every single person. I in particular strongly hate the Madden series even though lots of people like it.
I definitely share your opinion on the Souls games. I've only ever tried Demon Souls when it was the hot new thing on the PS3.
I might try elden ring or Bloodborne someday. I even considered trying Dark Souls because I like the composer (Motoi Sakuraba) but downloading the OST seemed like a better idea. 😆
Bit of a hot take, but bloodborne is better in my opinion. It's jank as hell like all from soft games, but less so
Honestly to me it just sucks that the Souls-era games have alot going on in their atmosphere and story but the fandom for those games have acted like the only appeal of the games is the difficulty and the slow gameplay.
Personally I've played a few of them and can't get into them despite liking aspects of them, I prefer my action games to be fast and with kinetic flow in combat like in Devil May Cry, Hi Fi Rush, or Bayonetta for example.

Its not that the 3d is bad, its just that is not faithful to the original. Its a tad bloated/round.
Nickelodeon kids were that rare for you? I dunno if it was just me, but when I was a kid, things like Cartoon Network and Toon Disney were premium channels you had to pay extra for, where as Nickelodeon was part of the most basic packages. I myself only had Nickelodeon unless I was visiting my Dad. At least until like 02'.

I feel like the Souls games are more than just difficulty, but I understand where you come from.
People don’t enjoy them just because “omg I’m such a gamer it’s so difficult.” It’s the replayability and the amount of variety in combat you can have. But it’s kind of an acquired taste, I didn’t care for it until I played dark souls 1 when it was on sale, and I especially loved Elden Ring.
I’ll admit tho Souls fans are toxic as fuck like 85% of the time, they’re annoying as hell.

Fuck. You might have summed up why I love control which is also extremely hard, but hate elden ring. Control lets you whip around like a fly. Elden ring on the other hand is a tedious dumpster fire of a mess.
