Cool story about Latrice is that her and her two daughters work for GM building engines, and she was the first builder to get 10 perfect engines in a row.
I LOVE IT - you guys are NUTS!! I would love to just have a STOCK Caddy Escalade V!!! But like you.....I just can't leave💩 alone either! I gotta mod everything I own! Very nice! 🏁🏁🏁🏁🏁🏁🏁🏁
I recently did a cam build on one of these escalade v's. Ill give you a good tip for pulling the blower, and or engine. Pull the hood and wiper cowl assembly off. It will open up all the room above and behind the blower.
There is a cool story about Latrice Carothers and how her and her sister and mom all have been working and assembling GM V8 engines for corvettes, Camaros and Escalades. It is really cool.
You guys are awesome, I love watching the videos on this Escalade V. I work for a Cadillac Dealer and love showing my management staff your videos. Keep up the great work.
Oh a cliffhanger good luck moving forward Steve I’m hoping you don’t find any surprises on this journey unless they are good ones!!! Can’t wait to see the next episode on this one!!!
Gents, GM tech here.. that twisted hose is super common and there’s tech bulletins out for the issue. They might not be related directly to the escalade V but twisted coolant hoses in general.
The TCM is behind the ECM on that bracket behind the LF fender line. That module you zoomed in on is the transfer case module.. edittt you guys noticed before the end of the video. Also to help get the blowers off you can remove the lower portion of the wiper cowl and you’ll have tons of room to get back there
Steve is a brave man blowing the entire front end of the V apart 😮 I’m guessing this cam install was done prior to the last video since you said you were selling it possibly…..
@StangkilrProductions Hahaha, glad I'm not the only one. Definitely appreciate the shot. I agree, I think GM did it right when they built this exhaust. Pretty sure stock cats are high flow. I'm still running stock manifolds and cats with a Corsa mid-pipe and Kooks mufflers and the sound... 🤌🏽🤌🏽
6:00 Awesome Cadillac SUV! I have owned some Cadillac Seville SLS and sedan DeVille in the past and I found by the fuel filter location underneath very poorly design and where it's mounted and the fuel line connection very short and was kind of kinked and then in the engine compartment I believe the fuel return made of rubber hose was a very short piece it was also located in bad position and had no mounting hardware or bracket? Very poor design or engineering! 🤔💭
Pretty cool stuff, I just don’t understand why GM keeps making these small upgrades to the LT4, we now have 3 different LT4s, with this one being a hybrid LT4/LT5, just use the LT5 in both Vs and ZL1s, and make upgrades in power to it like Dodge did with Hellcat engines. LT4 is a great engine except for the lifters.
That's cool as hell Justin. R u guys worried about it getting enough fuel? It may be a stupid question, but I thought you had to have more fuel when you use a bigger blower and more aggressive cam...is that right?
@@StangkilrProductions I'm never Jealous of how a car sounds. A cars sound is not synonymous with its speed. Had plenty of rowdy sounding cars take an L. Including one of these new V Escalades. Thought he was quick with all his bubbling sounds. 😆 🤣
So much info in this video! Its cool with all the EV's coming out that we still have vehicles currently being sold and produced like the Escalade V!
I would legit adapt the stock escalade v exhaust to run on my truck. It sounds that good and is dual 3 inch!!!
Is it necessary to remove the DOD solenoids when doing the delete on the L87?
What’s the part number for the V injectors? I’m doing a 2023 truck right now and I’m pretty certain the injectors are the same situation

Wow that’s so cool! Thanks for sharing that info.

Very cool. Thank you for the exhaust shot and teardown.

Something about you’re channel I can watch from beginning to end. Great video
Appreciate that!
I dont have balls big enough to do this to my V.. so I will live vicariously through your build instead LOL.
That’s what I am here for!
Great video. A lot of great comments from GM dealer tech and aftermarket guys. 👍👍
Would love to get a ride in this thing man! 🏁🫡
Keep the content on the v it’s unique nobody has anything on it and I’m loving it

Yeah we found it it’s later in the video lol
Great video! You have one bad ass V! 🎉
Steve is a brave man blowing the entire front end of the V apart 😮

You will see ;)
The wiper cowl comes off fairly easy and gives you alot more room in the rear.
The exhaust manifolds are also bigger than the regular L87 6.2. They use the big stainless steel L8T 6.6 gas HD truck manifolds
Fastest Escalade V in the making 🔥
Man that’s a bad mamma jamma I love those Escalades
I’m gonna bet that the Escalade V transfer cases is gonna be something that truck guys will utilize in their 4WD builds.
Great video. Very interesting and informative video. Thanks for sharing.
You’re welcome!
This is SO helpful! Thank you SO much!
It wouldn’t be easier to lift the body off seems like a lot of work hats off to you Steve
Nope not with all the electronics and ac lines
Yall the first! 💪🏻
When are you raffling it out?
Those gun metal gray wheels are sick. Everyone has black wheels now days
Yeah I’m tired of black wheels
Wonder if lifting the body off the frame would make things easier?
I wonder if the casting for the head is the same as the LT5 just with different machining.
Couldn't be more wrong, or maybe I'm the only person that's been curious what the stock exhaust looks like...
Hell I was curious before i bought one and couldn’t find any pictures anywhere haha

Lol thought it was cleetus
I thought you were selling the Escalade?
Latrice is official 😂
My boy said SIKE!! Stay tuned
What brand lowering links did you use ?

The gun metal rims make it look very sporty and clean! 👍🏻
I hope you pay this guy good money! Wow

To call this engine an LT4 just baffles me. It’s a completely different engine and SC
@@StangkilrProductions yeah it’s more like a LT5- than a LT4+ lol
For the record.. 22+ Lt motors have 6mm injector stems, and everything older has 7.5mm injector stems..
I know this might be a reach but have you found someone who can make a regular Escalade trans shift like a Escalade V
That's cool as hell Justin. R u guys worried about it getting enough fuel? It may be a stupid question, but I thought you had to have more fuel when you use a bigger blower and more aggressive cam...is that right?
Should be good! It’s got dual nozzle meth and the bigger fuel lobe on cam plus we running 93 octane
So if it's a lt5 that would mean its a direct/port injection or is it just direct like a lt4
Just direct injection
It's basically the lt5 without port injection
Kind of…it’s like a bunch of mix matched parts. Obviously an LT5 is dry sump too. Block appears to be the same.
Do you want to sponsor the factory blower to a up and coming youtuber? I can make some good footage with it. Got a 2018 Silverado I would slap it on😊
I can make some great footage with it too lol.
@StangkilrProductions hey it was worth a try. Worse you could of said was what you said lol
is that jokers economy ported blower or there mex effort port?
This is their chaos port
Waiting for the flex fuel pump problems fixed
Why ?
Nice
Thought you was gonna sell it
That exhausts is Fucking crazy. Thanks for the info, post the head casting number if you can.
No casting numbers lol.
Does anyone know where he gets that blue plastic he sticks on the fenders?
Amazon. Is carpet protecting
Holy injector !
DI injectors
Why not do a 3 bolt cam?
Really no reason to
Why jokerz over kong?
They’re both good I have just always worked with Brett at Jokerz. Great guy
@@StangkilrProductions Roger that!
I thought this guys here cletus 😂
Can't just add more Boost, Fuel and Spark on Stock components, like with Ford.
Need to tear open a GM motor all up to make it giddy up and go.
Don’t be jealous because we can make our engines sound awesome at idle now.

Take the cowl off. You’ll have a ton more room.
Yessir we will next time
"Leenth"
Could of just pulled the cab off supper easy
I thought u were making it back to stock? I thought u were gonna sell it?
