Вставка
- Опубліковано 27 вер 2022
- Gates Wildlife responded to an emergency call regarding a squirrel inside a kitchen of a retirement home. Upon arrival, Brad and Cassandra learned that there was also a covid outbreak in the building! After getting cleared by the health professionals to proceed, they headed to the kitchen to locate and rescue the squirrel. The kitchen staff had seen the squirrel running around earlier that morning and were able to corner it under a dish cart.

Fiesty little fella 🐿 😂
Watched this outside on the patio and this little guy's distress calls brought our momma squirrel barreling out of the tree looking for the sound 😀
The mother instincts are strong!
my kitty responded the instant he squeaked
"At this age they're kinda stupid..." love ya Brad!

I like that you call the calls "rescues". You rescue the animals instead of ridding humans of annoyances. 👍
I absolutely love this guy! He’s so full of kindness and compassion… just very special. Thanks for caring about these animals so much. ❤❤❤❤
Brad clearly knows what he's doing. Look at that save at 6:34 !

What a little cutie, I’m sure he will be a lot happier outside. I love our wildlife in Toronto, and really appreciate your humane approach to getting them back where they belong.🖤🇨🇦
@@user-px4iu1gx8c Hello Trevor, we are fine here, just preparing for Autumn and the Winter to come. I hope you and yours are also well and happy.🖤🇨🇦
@@user-px4iu1gx8c Very pleasant thank you.🖤🇨🇦
@@user-tv1xj5ji6x Ontario is not affected by the hurricanes that have battered the East coast, so we are having a pretty normal move into Autumn here.🖤🇨🇦
@@user-tv1xj5ji6x Where I live, the temperature can be as high as +40c in Summer, and as low as -40c in Winter. I am retired now, but we dress for the weather with appropriate outer gear, and inside, our homes and workplaces are temperature controlled.🖤🇨🇦
@@user-tv1xj5ji6x I’m fine with it thanks.🖤🇨🇦
That’s a baby?! He’s huge. Super quick too!
Poor little baby! If I were an animal especially a small little animal, I would be afraid of humans too. Thank you for always being respectful and compassionate to all the animals that you catch. Kindest regards, Susan from Ontario Canada 👏🏼 👏🏼 👏🏼 🤟🏻 🤟🏻 🤟🏻

I've worked in the kitchen of a nursing home for 12 years, and the only pests we ever seem to have to deal with are insects. This time of year it's wasps 🐝

"At this age they're kinda stupid, they don't really know how to behave like a normal squirrel," lol! I think that sums up how ALL kids can be, hell, even soem adults tbh
He bit you?! Unappreciative little squirrel 🐿️ you saved him!
Wow
Squirrels are so adorable I love gates rescue one of my favorite channels to go to
Poor baby looked so terrified!
*oof* Well that was something else guys! Glad the little squirrel is safe most likely now! Squeaky little guy though, guess that's why dog toys have squeakers in them! Better a dog play with a squeak toy than one of these guys!
yooo new gates video, let's goo
I love and respect this channel and these amazing people who compassionately rescue our wild life...That have been here on this planet long before us and deserve a safe and happy environment to thrive and raise their families....Thank you !! 🥰🐿🐿🐿❤️

Enjoyable rescue. For me anyway.
Good job guys
Damn you squished tf outta him lol. Its understandable with how quick this animal is though
"Squirrelstar"
Well done here in Dallas my mom lives on a Greenbelt belt and when I was young I rescued a little squirrel so sounds crazy but I know the sounds that they make and I go out and talk to them I'm kinda bad because I do like to feed them a lot they will come take the food right out of my hand the younger ones I just put some nuts out for them a lot of times I will scavenger for acorns
They're pretty spoiled they get pecan's and some black oil sunflower seeds I think they are incredibly smart little critters Recently a year ago A cat hanging around the neighborhood was kind of chasing a little baby this one when we rescued it actually took it to a rehabber it was a little girl and I thought it more appropriate that she grow up with another squirrel and get released into the wild believe me I actually cried giving her up only had her for 2 nights Cause I had to wait to get together with the rehab lady She brought the other young squirrel out so they immediately were little friends that made it a lot easier for me People in my mom's neighborhood call me the squirrel lady me I wear a certain hat and wave it in the air and I'm not kidding they come running come running without the hat they have to double look Anyway just wanted to tell my little squirrel story and how much I love that you rescue and release these animals Now that I'm in a dollars I know that you should never keep wildlife as a pet unless they have a permanent injury Lots of love to guys keep up the great work God-bless you and God-bless your family and God-bless Canada
Oh sh*t!! 🤣😂 6:32
I was holding my breath the whole time!❤
Quick reflexes!! Still my girlfriends favorite channel
At this age they’re kinda stupid. ..LoL I get it, my three son’s are all around the age of 30yrs old and they still manage to do stupid things! ..LoL
First time I have seen the proper wearing of the N95 mask. With the elastic crossed over the back of the head!!!
Great job!
That Brad walked into the building, obviously at the height of Covid, and quietly allowed the tester to swab his nares and ensure he wasn’t positive, and then proceed to the rescue, was refreshing. Thank you Gates Wildlife for your compassion. This should be required viewing for how humans should behave!
Squirrels don't gave rabies in Washington state either. Bats carry rabies.
🥰🥰❤❤🥰🥰
I hope they are as concerned about disinfection in that kitchen as they are about covid.
I want a sweatshirt. You should sell them on your channel!
Update fresh baby squirrel on the menu disguised as chicken strips
these gates love to chat & gossip endlessly & prolong the terror & suffering of the animals
You have to do a test first? How ridiculous…..
you maybe broke some of his bones with Your arm - how can you push that much???
egoistic and unemphatic zombiefication!
and if this company can’t bear a squirrel, they should go to hell with all their money…
cyborg zombie humans!
I don't understand the rabid test. Wouldn't Gates be the ones to administer such a test, not this business? [Fast forwarded a bit] Ok, I'm really confused now. They tested you for rabies? What kind of business is this?
Pretty sure it was rapid test not rabies test. As in rapid COVID test. He also explains later how their area generally doesn’t have a rabies problem with squirrels anyways.
Why do you have to hold the petrified little critter for a photo shoot? Let him go.
you better not be one of those people who keeps making a giant pile of these animals we live on a farm and we do what has to be done I do it with a rock and I make sure it's not an easy and quick death
The test to come in I would have left. Absolute bs. Whatever happened to my body my choice and freedom?
That’s nice. Clearly these folks made their choice to take the test, but good job trying to make it about you.
Yeah, that stunk.
You'd think that by now they would realize what the truth is.
Some people never learn.
It was brave of them to risk what's on that cotton swab to rescue the squirrel.
It didn’t hurt him! No jab! People can get so triggered and the resultant anger is really obnoxious. It is obviously an old folks home; the home/business gets sued by the children of the parents if they don’t do this, too.
No one is angry. O_o
Yes, the place has to cover their behind.
We get it.
Cool, besides the useless masks
Did you notice it’s a senior living center? Or the part where Brad said there’s a current outbreak in the building? Masks are a more than reasonable precaution under the circumstances.
Old folks are so vulnerable they don't get a "mild case". They die. I suppose the doctors think masks might do some good for prevention.
@@maxb4074 all of it has been debunked
That is ridiculous: They can catch their own squirrel. No stupid, invasive and illegal testing allowed on my body unless it is done by my doctor with my consent.
