Our pediatrician, lover her, asks me at every appointment how am I and if I need anything. And at our last appt with our youngest she asked and I literally fell a part! Just snot crying lol. She embraced me, affirmed me, encouraged me, and guided me in that moment. I needed it. So yes, even after a year or 4, mom's still need wellness checks. I'm with you and will always advocate for that!

The discussion on mom guilt, on asking for help… all of it is so necessary! When Ginny said her son just turned 2 and still mourning her old self… baybeeee the tears I felt in my eyes. It’s true you’re NEVER the same. Good discussion

It's hard to ask for help sometimes but the way for us to show up as our best for our kids is to know our limits. I think they will appreciate our honesty and transparency as the get older and it will allow them to see our humanity. They'll understand that mom is not a robot or a super hero and prayerfully they'll take that example and use it in their own lives and families. Kids don't come with instructions so having supportive husbands and friends while we navigate motherhood is such a blessing. Great episode ladies. Love the show!
