- Jack Moltz, the co-owner of Nick's in the Sticks, made a statement to WVUA23 admitting to and apologizing for his use of a racial slur to the friend of a group of Black customers.

So why is he apologizing now is he losing business? It is great that he is publicly apologizing but is he really sincere or is he trying to save his business?

He asked that the attention be on him yet in the first video you can see his wife, or GF, or whatever she is.. smile and walk away. She is absolutely a part of this and should issue an apology as well.

@@sicottishBeing derogatory and cruel isn’t a “mistake”, it’s intentional. He doesn’t want someone of colour in his restaurant and made sure to be cruel this family on their son’s birthday of all days.

How many days did this apology take. Too little too late.
I had no idea that place was still there and open. A fraternity that was recruiting me took me there when I was going through freshman orientation back in the summer of '78. Hopefully those he offended will be bigger than the moment and find it in their hearts to forgive and let the guy learn from his mistake and their forgiveness.

@@areasonablethought610 Do you not think that people can learn from a mistake and do better? Everyone, including you and me, have said or done something stupid we regretted. I don't know if he is really that racist or having a bad moment or what. Even if he's the world's most racist person, cancelling him and ruining that business won't change his mind. It'll just teach him to be more careful of what he says. OTOH, forgiving him and working with him to show him the error of his ways may genuinely change his thinking and benefits everyone.
