"Having you in his life doesn't mean less for me. It means more for Po." Such an inspiring, touching line, I love that Ping and Li eventually put aside their differences, and decide to raise Po together, showing that biological and adoptive parents are both essential in a child's life.

At least until the TV show that followed that about 4 pandas becoming Chi warriors and Li and Mr. Ping are back at each other's throats again

I always thought it funny how Shifu was adamant a Po couldn’t be dragon warrior because he’s a panda, while Shifu himself is a martial arts master despite being a red panda.

Also, doesn’t shifu mean master? So they’re just saying “master master”.

Po line when shifu confronted him about how nothing shift can put him through can compare to the feeling of being himself, and how strong that was

Po's arc in the second film is the best character development in any Kung Fu Panda movie. I like his storyline in the first film, but in the sequel, his journey is simply beautiful. He is on a quest for inner peace which neatly into this existential arc that he's going though. When he is at an old village where he was born, he is forced to slow down, embraces the art of meditation and confront his PTSD that he finally becomes worthy of his Dragon Warrior role again. This journey of his is brilliantly contrasts against Shen, who was let his spy towards his past consume him.

Everything aside, I really want the Furious Five and Po to reunite in a movie. It's like yeah it's Po's journey he's the protagonist but we shouldn't forget the ones who inspired his journey, his friends.

Kung Fu Panda is my favourite franchise of all times. The jokes makes me laugh, the action sequences are awesome and the message in each movie always inspired me. I can't wait to see the fourth one! Greetings from Peru.

    Here’s another one for you:
In the short SECRETS OF THE FURIOUS FIVE, Monkey was voiced by Jackie Chan’s son Jaycee Chan. He was a singer and actor who in 2014, was arrested and jailed for the possession and distribution of marijuana, and for accommodating drug users at his apartment in Beijing. He spent six months behind bars and his career and reputation took a massive hit since. It’s so bad that he lost multi-million dollar endorsements and contracts from Adidas, Nivea, Yishion, Johnson & Johnson contact lenses, Stride gum, KFC, and Chevrolet.

Oogway's message of "One often meets his destiny on the road he takes to avoid it" also has meaning in the sequel
Because Lord Shen tried to avoid his destiny, which was to be defeated by a warrior of black and white, by killing the pandas. But this would come to bite him in the ass as a *warrior of black and white* in the form of Po the Panda, came back to defeat him

I always thought Po giving Shen a Murderous Death Stare after Tigress gets shot with a Cannon could foreshadow a future movie where Po finally snaps and gives in to inner rage but is saved by his friends. (ex: Shifu, Mr Ping, or Zhen are killed/paralyzed and Po starts pummeling the guilty party to near death before Tigress pulls Po back to his senses - not wanting him to become what she used to think she was ... a monster. Perhaps the villains' plan is to ruin the peoples' trust in Po in order to decrease morale and attempt conquest).

I can see a huge difference in animation quality from the first film vs the 4th film. The franchise never disappoints me. What I picked up is almost everything as the franchise started out when I was 13.

Yeah....I've seen these movies dozens of times, and I've never thought about goose balls or mantis virginity at all. Anyone else find the focus on these things disturbing--what kind of "adult" thinks up this shit? They need to get some more real-world life experience.
