#timotheereacts# you and your fiance were such a joy to watch in this awesome movie reaction I really enjoyed it alot I hope you guys will please do a reaction on one of my favorite Arnold Schwarzenegger movies its from 1994 its called JUNIOR
I feel like people completely miss the fact that Jenna was on her way to tell Tracy about what just happened when she overhears Lucy's conversation with her.
Anyone else notice that when Jenna put the pictures on the mantle at the end, the last picture she puts up is of her parents? That means she still talks to them in the new timeline.
The blindfold she's wearing at the party is the sleep mask she's wearing when she wakes up. The apartment in the "30 flirty and thriving" article is the apartment she's living in in the future. The guy she throws the shrimp tail on is the same guy who's drink she drops the pineapple wedge in.
I remember being disappointed with Matt rejecting Jenna, but with time, this was such a plot twist move. Jenna was Matt's first love and barging back in as she did probably stir up some old feelings tinged with nostalgia, BUT there is 17 years of Jenna being mean to him amd dropping him like a hot potato. He never sought her out or anything. He was happy with Wendy, living their life. Sometimes, there is just too much time past and hurt involved to entertain an idea of dropping everything to try making it with a girl you liked at 13. Plus, Jenna was actually mentally 13, so if they got together, 30 year old Matt would be dating de facto 13 year old... the do-over was neat and simple way to give them a happy ending without making it weird.
also think that its true that there no such thing as perfect or dream house, thats just a perception of unrealistic expectations. Matt yes does love jenna but she wasnt there for him when he needed her nor was she ironically mature enough to reciprocate or handle the feelings she had correctly and in time he found someone who could, and that why at the end of the day he chose Wendy.
Jenna got what she wanted in the end, but only because, given her second chance, she didn't waste it. She made better choices, realized who her true friends were, and who wasn't worth her time and effort to impress, and acted upon the lessons learned.
If you want to see Mark Ruffalo in another leading role in a romantic comedy, I would highly recommend the film Just Like Heaven. It also has Reese Witherspoon and Jon Heder in it as well.
Fun fact that most probably won’t have a clue about: The girl in the elevator from her building is young actress Renee Olstead, who even at this point was a professional Jazz singer. She was also on the TV sitcom Still Standing. I have a couple of her albums, and as a professional musician and vocalist myself, I can say she is the real deal. A child prodigy.
I've loved this movie since it came out. I was around 11 then and I just rewatched it last year for my 30th birthday. 💕 Congratulations to you both! 💖🎉
Congrats on being officially married Tim and Clariss 😃👏🏻🎉🎊💕⛪, also for your next movie reaction I'd love to see you watch The Shaggy Dog (2006) which stars Tim Allen if you love animals like I do it's a family comedy I believe you'll enjoy 😁🤞🏻🐶🎥
Congrats, newlyweds! 🎉❤ This movie is so much fun, and I enjoyed watching you react to it together. If you like Mark Ruffalo in these kinds of movies, I highly recommend Just Like Heaven with Reese Witherspoon. I think you would both have a fun time with it too, and it really hits the feels in a few moments. ❤
This movie has such a fun fan base and honestly, we were robbed of Jennifer Garner in fun comedies because SHE IS SO GOOD IN THIS. Thirty, Flirty and Fabulous indeed. P.S. Mark Ruffalo being one of the cutest awkward love interests on screen omg thank you to everyone who made the movie.
39:40 Personally, I take the story as it is. Everything was scripted like this for a purpose, including cheating on Wendy. It's the only reason why her character exists, to create a conflict and that cheating moment. In movies, I cheer for bad things to happen, because it makes the story better and because I don't like boring stories. It's entertainment after all. ♥
FOB: Front of Book BOB: Back of Book He was essentially saying to take stuff out of the front, completely change the back, and think of new headlines to go with it.
Mazel tov, you two! Film definitely has a ton of marvel actors. Jennifer Garner: Elektra in daredevil (2003) and spin-off film, Elektra. Mark Ruffalo: hulk in the avengers films. Judy Greer: Cassie Lang's mom/Scott Lang's ex-wife in the first two Ant-Man films. Andy series: klaue in age of Ultron and black panther. Brie Larson (one of the six chicks): Captain marvel. And Sean Marquette (young Matt): voiced Spidey in the video game Ultimate Spider-Man the following year
I think Jenna's presentation was fine, her approach was just a little clumsy. What she could've also said: shift it to focus on the ones who are actually reading it.
Might I just say, Jennifer Garner is great in this movie. She just makes this a delightful and fun movie to watch. Also, this line from the movie did feel pretty memorable to me: “It’s not like she needs a play by play.”
Mind blowing fact for all of us--Our birthdays are celebrations of already having lived that year. We celebrate at the end of the year, not the beginning. So 13 bday she lived through her 13th year.
Here is a fun fact the little redheaded girl that was in the elevator is also a jazz blues singer and she's been seen since she was 14 years old Renee Olstead very very good
I was around 15 or 16 when I first saw this movie and I think it was one of the most impactful movies I ever watched in terms of life lessons. The main thing that has stuck with me all these years is when Jenna and her mom are talking at the breakfast table and she asks her mom if she would ever want to redo a mistake. The mom's response is that she doesn't regret making those mistakes because she wouldn't be the person she is today without them. That bit of wisdom left such a profound effect on me and made me less afraid of "screwing up" as I got older. As far as how people reacted to the relationship between Matt and Jenna, I can't really say for certain as a whole. Speaking from my experience, teenage me interpreted it as wishful longing and thinking. I understood it was wrong and when Matt tells her that you can't just turn back time I didn't get mad at him. I never really considered the fiancee but the message that it wasn't fair to her came across in the conversation between the main characters.
idk if u know, but jen and mark reunited in another movie that came out last year called the adam project. ryan reynolds, zoe saldana, and walker scobell were also in it. walker plays percy in the new percy jackson show that's coming out next month
For my 30th birthday back in 2020, my mom and I revisited this movie. And when it was over, she asked me, "Does this make you want to be 13 again?" And I just laughed and said bluntly, "No." Still one of my favorite movies, though. Love the message that you guys took away from it is the warning to all the youngsters about poor decisions in middle or high school reflecting on their adulthood later in life.
O my god!! Kill me now!!! I'm following you for so long now Tim never new you had a girl! And now youre getting married!!! 🎉🎉🎉congratulations!! I'm going living under my rock again 😢😢
First, congratulations to you both!!! Second, what I love about this movie is how Jenna realized eventually that she got what she wanted but lost only what she had but what she needed as well. If you want more Jennifer Garner I must recommend Ghost of Girlfriends Past, Alexander and the Horrible Terrible No Good Bad Day, Yes Day, and the new Christmas film Family Switch. For Mark Ruffalo besides MCU as Hulk, Now You See Me 1-2 and The Adam Project. Other aging films that I recommend are 16 Wishes, 17 Again (TJ Tia and Tamera Mowery) and 17 Again (Zac Efron). 💍🤵♂️👰♀️🍾🎉👏👱🏻♀️🪄👩🏼🦱 👩❤️👨🏠💄💋🩷💜🩵💛🧡
I saw this for the first time in middle school. That's how I learned about Pat Benatar. For the ending I was rooting for Jenna and Matt and didn't care about his fiance. As an adult, I am still rooting for them. But I definitely see the issues with situation. But I always ask where was the fiance that you don't know that a change is happening with your man? Realistically a woman would have noticed. Ik for the movie purposes that they didn't put that in and as an audience we are supposed to want to see them together. Still one of my favorites 💯
So, I already knew Brie Larson was in this, but I never realized Ashley Benson was also one of the Six Chicks. I only caught it now, after having watched PLL.
I feel like Matt should DEFINITELY have broken up with Wendy. Because even though he said he moved on, he also said he hasn't felt what he feels for Jenna in a long time aka he doesn't love Wendy, as least not as much. He's staying because he feels obligated, not because he wants to marry, and that could turn into negative feelings in the long run and make both of them unhappy. In the first scenario Jenna and Matt could still go their seperate ways due to all the things Jenna did and then she woke up and they do end up together, just like it was in the movie. That's how i would have done it :)

The worst part about time travel is that no one is going to give you convenient context building like they do in this movie.
If you want to see Mark Ruffalo in another leading role in a romantic comedy, I would highly recommend the film Just Like Heaven. It also has Reese Witherspoon and Jon Heder in it as well.
Omg YES! I'm a huge fan of Just Like Heaven :)
Also View from the Top with Gwyneth Paltrow! So good
@@rickygarcia94 I heard of that one but never seen it
@GunnarBarker it's watchable

41:45 Clariss using both hands to clap at the happy ending, whilst holding Tim's hand is sweet and hilarious ❤😂 Congratulations! 🎉
I met Andy Serkis last year and asked him if it was hard for him to do the Moonwalk?
He said he had an excellent trainer and it was a lot of fun
Cool

Newlyweds?! Congratulations you guys!
Thank you!
I watched this movie a year ago and it was so good, Jennifer and Mark`s chemistry in here is amazing.
One of my favorite romantic comedies, Jennifer Garner has an infectious charm and charisma she has good chemistry with Mark Ruffalo
shut up, you’re getting married?!? I’ve loved both of you guys individually for a while, and I’m very happy for you both!! 🥰❤️💕
This girl also played as Jennifer Garners younger self in Ghost of Girlfriends Past
"This is where he hulks out "

Film definitely has a ton of marvel actors.
Jennifer Garner: Elektra in daredevil (2003) and spin-off film, Elektra.
Mark Ruffalo: hulk in the avengers films.
Judy Greer: Cassie Lang's mom/Scott Lang's ex-wife in the first two Ant-Man films.
Andy series: klaue in age of Ultron and black panther.
Brie Larson (one of the six chicks): Captain marvel.

Now Andy is Alfred in the Batman.
Congratulations on the wedding! Wishing you both many years of love and happiness.
I think Jenna's presentation was fine, her approach was just a little clumsy.
What she could've also said: shift it to focus on the ones who are actually reading it.
Yeah I agree... but granted she was barely 13 inside.
Might I just say, Jennifer Garner is great in this movie. She just makes this a delightful and fun movie to watch. Also, this line from the movie did feel pretty memorable to me:
“It’s not like she needs a play by play.”
Ruffalo is in the mcu and Garner has played Electra in two marvel movies and rumor to be in Deadpool 3 is crazy and congrats on the wedding by the way
Yeah, after nearly 20 years, Jennifer Garner is FINALLY reprising her role as Elektra Natchios.
3:49 BRIE LARSON was in this movie! It’s been confirmed a while back.
Congratulations, Tim and Clariss
I’m turning 26 tomorrow!
Wow! This is a fun romantic comedy! Remembered catching this on HBO in 2005!
It also served as a foundation for future Marvel stars!
Mind blowing fact for all of us--Our birthdays are celebrations of already having lived that year. We celebrate at the end of the year, not the beginning. So 13 bday she lived through her 13th year.
“7 minutes in Heaven” usually means just kissing, at least for young teens.
Watching this on my 30th birthday! Lol here's to 30, flirty, and thriving!!
Ok, now you need to watch Just Like Heaven (2005), it's my #2 Mark Ruffalo movie after this one 👌🏻😍
Here is a fun fact the little redheaded girl that was in the elevator is also a jazz blues singer and she's been seen since she was 14 years old Renee Olstead very very good
Congrats on the wedding!!!! I wish you all the happiness in the world, you deserve it!

Oh yeah, one of the SixChicks was played by actual Brie Larson 😁
Love this film. Its one of my favourite romantic comedies of all time.
Ok but the meta reference about Jennifer Garner and Jennifer Lopez. Genius.
Yup. And we know well who was in their love lives until that someone picked one Jennifer.
What I am wondering about 13 going on 30 movie is Jenna went from 13 to 30 but don't remember that time. So what happened to that Jenna?
Congrats on the engagement, had no clue you guys were even together, you really keep it professional lol!
Where have I been - your engagement!!!!!!🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉 do the love thing, and don’t forget to laugh often ❤

Being yourself is being original and that is the coolest you. It is sad that as kids/teenagers we seldom realise this.
Congrats guys!!! I wish you all the best of the world! I hope that you are very happy together!! ❤❤
“Newlyweds watch” is the cutest title ever!
I turned 30 a week ago.... my coworkers kept quoting this movie to me....
18:02 20 years is technically vintage and honestly the montage was everything!
Congratulations on your marriage!
One time when I was a kid I jumped from the swing and landed on my chest, couldn’t breathe for like 30 seconds
you know what, you guys must watch Don't Tell Mom the Babysitters Dead. I love that movie.
In some foreign countries, the movie is titled “Suddenly 30.”
That's only in Australia
So excited for this, today just so happens to be my 30th birthday too 😂🎉

it's so weird. She's not even THAT tall, but still looks TALL af.

13 Going on 30 is my favourite Rom-com.
We need more “fun” movies like this these days.
Newlyweds? I always thought Tim was gay! Congratulations! Wishing them both every happiness!
The dynamic was very much different until about ten minutes ago, as far as i can tell. I didn't notice the shift until I started watching reactions, particularly to a TV show where a couple who'd had a lot of will-they/won't-they decided that they would when they were kind of overcome, and they were both in other relationships. The fury of younger reactors was baffling to me. Yes, they were wrong and the show acknowledged it--kind of like the situation here--and in fact, it turned into a disaster, but there was no way they could have gone on with the show without pushing that dynamic to its logical end. The assumption was that people sometimes were at inconvenient points in their lives when they realized that true love had come knocking, and, well... were they going to open the door or not? Because we of Jenna's generation had always been serial monogamists--unlike our parents, we didn't "date," per se, we just "went out"--the pattern was often, "I'm going with you and then one of us screws up and now we're both with other people..." A bit confusing, but yeah, the general sense was that relationships were deeply serious until they weren't.
Finally!! Yaye!
Cannot watch now but maybe later....😃😃😃😃😃😃😃😃
Ah!! I'm so happy for you guys!! Love both your channels and you guys!! Congratulations!!! ❤❤❤
