The whole DC industry is terrified with Apple’s venture into the Dive world. The Oceanic + app, although it has a stupid subscription plan - came up today and makes the Ultra a very capable dive instrument. As a user of Suunto and Scubapro DC’s for the last 20 years, I’m switching to Apple. I’m sure version 2 will be more polished, perhaps adding air integration and more tech capabilities. Technology evolves and having 1 device doing multiple things is the future. DCs are trying to include smartwatch attributes while Apple killed them all overnight. Sad but true…
Thanks for the comments Alex.. I'd say it really depends on one's overall needs... hard to beat the visibility of the BIG Peregrine or love all those extra feature sets of the M2.. Regards Bob C
