The first character to have vocals in their music I believe was Miror B. Then came Ghetsis and soon after Colress, then Lysandre, then all of Team Skull and Lusamine, then Rose.
This guy isn't even a pure villain compared to most of the others like Giovanni and Ghetsis and yet his fight theme sounds like you're fighting a fallen god.
I think it fits him decently enough actually. His character is so poorly written though so I see why people say that. He’s this egotistical maniac that craves attention. He wants, no, NEEDS to be the one written about in the history books. Being forgotten is his greatest nightmare. So he planned to unleash eternatus and use its energy to solve what, in his mind, is the region’s greatest threat, securing him as a household name for the next thousand years. I think it makes sense for him to have an over the top theme as he thinks so highly of himself.

The thing is, Rose isn't even a villain. He found that using Eternatus's power, he could generate incredible amounts of power, so he gathered enough wishing stars, and even created a shell-like capsule to safely revive Eternatus, generate power, while keeping it safely sealed away in the shell, but then found out he couldn't contain Eternatus's power himself, allowing Eternatus to go on a rampage and summon the darkest day again, and since we saw him reviving Eternatus without context, we just happened to veiw him as the villain.
The jolly business man: smiles: happy music plays☺️ When you try to piss him off and he stops smiling and he gets mildly annoyed: Menacing Latin quire chanting "The Thorned Rose's Creed" as he literally unintentionally brings forth Armageddon.😐
I've listened to these all individually but this... This is my absolute favorite version of his theme where the guitar, the choir, the strings, everything just gets harmonized to perfection and my ears needed to hear this mashup

Only just recently watched the tail end of a play through so I'm not certain, but Rose wanted to turn Eternatus into a power source, whether that meant leaching off its energy or literally hooked up to batteries. Unfortunately, the power cells weren't enough, and neither was his ability to control Eternatus. In Galar, through the process of absorbing the energy within the region, Eternatus causes the by-product of rampant Dyna-/Giganta-maxing, 'The Darkest Day'. Exactly how this happens I don't think was ever stated, but I liken it to an massive open wound that's not clotting up, though really it's a bit more like opening all the faucets in a house and not turning them off.
Oh wait I think I remember now, it was basically that Rose pissed off Eternatus by draining its energy, and it was ready to just blast Galar as a result, and if that happened then Pokémon could start Dynamaxing everywhere including in the middle of crowded cities which would be bad... and part of the reason all the gyms are built where they are is so that it guarantees that even if a Dynamax occurs, people will still be relatively safe since the Pokémon will be in a wide open area...

This theme, and especially this rendition of this theme, is honestly really good, and honestly not something I expected from a Pokémon game, but Rose wasn't a particularly enjoyable villain... he wasn't without potential, but his presentation was kinda limp
