    Props to Math for the whole series. Every episode is pure class. This one right here tho is the best one so far. I knew Serch was a legend but he was before my time and i knew not alot about him. After this tho, I have a higher level of respect for this man.
    The knowledge he is sharing is invaluable and not spoken about often.
    I don't normally comment this much but i feel i speak for everyone watching when i say that what you are doing will be remembered as a pivotal contribution to hip hop.

    I cant get enough of this guys stories and have been down a deep af rabbit hole since I saw the first vid the other day 😂❤ Im a white 40 somethin woman from Scotland,UK and had never heard of MC Serch despite bein a hiphop fan from the age of 14 when I gt to see the amazing Naughty by Nature live in London❤ OPP was massive here at tht time n opened my little teenybopper eyes to the most beautiful artform to ever exist ❤Thank u Math and team for helping me and the world feed our thirst for the real history and knowledge of a culture tht obviously never will belong to my ppl but still speaks to my soul in a way I cant even explain , words always were my thing n since I could read and write I loved writing poems and stories as it was as natural to me as breathing , it was only a matter of time til the talent of these artists became my passion ❤Self expression , baring ur deepest darkest secrets in the hope tht maybe someone somewhere feels all of it and can relate , even could be healed hearing ur words honestly is the fkn bravest act any human can do imo, ora bangin beat n lyrical miracle can change ppls mood in a heartbeat 😂big up all of u , realest shit Ive seen in way too long xxxx

      He had the grey area information that most artists aren't privy to before signing their first deal

      Serch spoke on how he dotted the ts and i's for nas while getting him signed to Columbia but whatever he did it must have been agreed to upon the fact that nas wouldn't own his masters. Which is normal practice especially if the artist is a nobody and doesn't have equity. But in hindsight there should have been a clause within the contract maybe where the company would agree to overturn the masters after a certain point. Surely nas had no fckng clue and he's probably fortunate that serch at least did what he did over all but nas still did have a pretty bad deal. And made very little off of his sales
