Me too! Also, did you prime the cabinets prior to applying the blue coat ? Your cabinets are like mine (maple color) and I’m thinking of going all white. But that blue is weighing on me 😊

@@valeriebillings7248 It depends on what color your sink top is. If it's a yellow-ish color, then you have to replace the whole sink top to a white color and make it a his/her sink with new plumbing. Then she painted the cabinets New England Blue, which is what color she used with a base-primer of pearl white. Remember, your baseboards need to be the same color as the New England Blue and the new Vinyl LVP Floor should be white/bluish.

So what do you have to do to the cabinet before paining ? Or do you just paint directly over it ?
I asked that too but I believe she primed it prior to painting.

I watched these videos and originally thought that's all there was to it.
Obviously I learned my lesson and the importance of each step of the process:
- Scrub
- Sand (thoroughly! 😳)
- Wash (wish dish soap)
- Rinse
- Allow to thoroughly dry
- Tape!!!!!
- Gather everything together
- Paint
- Remove tape while paints still wet
(And if you have to stop for the night, be sure to NEVER let tape sit overnight!)
