I really liked the video and I'm with you on the older music being simpler but somehow better. Man, you should really react to one Gojira song a week. They have consistently amazing music spanning over 22 years.
Finally.....! A Gojiraliveone. They've got more than 20 high quality performances on the tube. Live they are probably one of the best European metal acts together with Opeth, Jinjer and Rammstein. World class.
Gojira live ? seriously most of the other bands can go home .They raised the bar so high ,check out Gojira "Oroborus /the heaviest matter of the universe " combo live garorock 2009 :)
the hellfest 2013 set list is one of their most brutal one , dude , remembrance , fire is everything , the heaviest matter ...in the same concert ,and the sound is enormous
It is funny that you say that gojira is not so technical in a time where everything has to be technical for the sake of it. These guys were the technical shit back when technical was not normal. They have a lot of songs, like this one, which are in odd time signature feel or polyrythms eventhough the song is in 4/4, but they mastered to arrange the songs in a way, that they are still digestible for the average listener. Like Tool or Opeth do as well. When you said, the drummer is off beat, I guess you mean he doesn't play on the off beats. In 4/4 count 2 and 4 are the off beats. Usually the snare is played there. But Mario plays on 2 and 4&, so an eighth after the 4, but not yet the 1 of the next beat.
Paul Atreides said it, and I’ll second it. Ouroboros live at Eurockeennes is an incredible song, played at peak level - the album version is great but the live version is one of the best I’ve ever seen or heard, from any band ever.
Chief you ABSOLUTELY must get to the band called Saphath, it'd be a nice change for the channel, some spicy music there. A banger called "Outcast of Eden" or a lyrical track called "Spider Queen's Call" should unfold some of the awesomeness, there are videos for both. Crazy talented stuff.
You're right, a great comparison to a super technical band like Polyphia (after 2 songs they become boring) - Gojira are much more interesting (especially since they come from the same genre as Fear Factory). I recommend listening to Opeth (my favorite band), live version, whatever you want (Red Rocks, Royal Albert Hall).
I tried not to say Polyphia just right out in the open but yes was thinking about them in reference lol I love Fear Factory Linchpin is one of my favorite songs. I never got into Opeth I think we're influenced by the friends we keep and it just wasn't in my circle same with Arch Enemy. Red Rocks is close to me I'd love to see it!
Love the riffs, drums, and the dynamics in this song..
Yes!

You know I don't think that's a bad idea
@@Killermcknight I agree ! Should be an amazing concept. 1 gojira song / week... this band is so amazing!

I liked this video 50 times
🤣
@@Killermcknight gojira is best herd live. Their live performances are far better than the album. Definitely a must see live band
Just saw them live about three weeks ago, this song realy stood out on the night.
Good choice!! Hope you start doing a few more Gojira tracks, there's so much to discover. Where Dragons Dwell at Hellfest 2013 next, for sure!!
Added!

@@Killermcknight I highly recommend you to see Opeth in Red Rocks... A true musical mastery (the quality of workmanship as well)
Hi! please reacts to Silvera, amazing reaction video
Please react to Vintersea New Song "At the Gloaming Void".
I don’t know if the “Gorjira” thing is intentional or not but it’s really funny
It's not but my brain can't call it Gojira so it's the R in there lol
Next react Burgerkill an alagy
Explosia, as well in Brixton, is even better than this one, IMAO
