  • In this episode, you will learn what happens to bulk packaging from Biedronka stores. #wasterecycling #recycling #paper If you've been shopping at Biedronka, you've probably wondered what happens to the cardboard boxes that store products like fruits, vegetables, candies, or ready-made soup.
There are really a lot of them throughout the entire store. These used packages are valuable raw materials that go through specialized processing plants. However, the Biedronka supermarket chain and Mondi have decided to go further by introducing a closed-loop economy. This collaboration saves hundreds of thousands of trees annually and reduces water consumption and carbon dioxide emissions. Welcome to the fascinating world of processing and sustainable development.
It turns out that the bulk packaging ends up in a special container, and then it goes to the back of the store where a baler compresses the waste paper and prepares it for transport. But where does it go? And what happens to it next? That's what today's episode is all about.
