- Finally got around to testing this entry level dslr from canon! This camera takes stunning photos and I had a blast shooting with it. Please note that the video is from a Sony Cyber-shot DSC-HX9V, while the pictures are unedited from the Canon T6. Enjoy!

What is your camera of choice? Let me know!
I use a Nikon D5200
Cannon eos 1300d
Hey not a bad choice at all!
Mabi Joski Wow really well done, awesome pictures! Hoping to get this camera this summer. Do you think the T6 or D3400 is a better option? Fairly new to dslr'sWow really well done, awesome pictures! Hoping to get this camera this summer. Do you think the T6 or D3400 is a better option? Fairly new to dslr's.
Long run-on answer:
So admittedly I have very little exposure to Nikon. I've used my friend's before but that's about it. That being said, the d3400 has 24MP vs the T6's 18MP so the nikon takes a higher resolution image. On top of that the Nikon shoots at 5 fps while the canon shoots only 3 images per second. The Nikon also takes 1080p 60fps video while the canon is limited to 1080p 30fps. On paper the Nikon certainly looks better, BUT lenses are HUGE part of dslr photography as most of these will only work with the brand they were designed for, so when you buy a brand of camera you are almost signing a contract with that brand if you plan on buying lots of lenses over time.
Shorter answer:
The Nikon looks better from what I can tell, however if you plan on doing a lot of photography, think of the brand before the camera. For example if you like mirrorless cameras you might pay more for a sony with worse specs, if you like canon lenses you might pay a little more up front etc. All preference but both will be great, although I admittedly have a canon bias.
This was more helpful than most reviews on the Canon T6. People really need to learn how to review a camera, I don't just need a critique on how it works instead I need a comprehensive photoshoot since that is what it is designed for. Thanks for the video.
Glad you liked it!
Joyful WingedLion hey check my channel for T6 videos, all videos are from Canon T6
Hey man thank you for the amazing video showing off what the camera could actually do. I had a hard time finding a video that actually shows photos taken from the Canon T6.
Np, glad you enjoyed it!
IM GETTING THIS DURING THIS WEEK!! so excited Im watching reviews on it which are making me more excited. And those pictures were awesome
I'm excited for you! Nothing is more exciting than waiting for something in the mail, and watching videos definitely helps build that suspense! I hope you take some awesome photos!
Thnx men
Jesus Warrior same situation for me ,,, I am very very excited ,,,,,and watching all reviews and unboxings etc,,,,,,,,,HiFi......
I just got it!
Is this camera better than the Nikon D3400?
I didn’t even mind the music but this was by far the most helpful review on this camera
Glad I could help! Good to hear someone could stand the music haha.
Nice job, dude! A good demonstration of the camera's ability to shoot video and stills. Great subject area! 256k views says it all!
it looks gorgeous .
Great review. Too many people focus on displaying the camera’s function but this actually shows you the performance.
Thanks, glad you enjoyed it!
Nice shots you got there budd.keep it up
Thanks, will do!
I love the Peter Mckinnon outro there!
Ayyyyy, this is exactly what I was hunting for within the comments section, was wondering if someone else has noticed 😂😂👌🏻👌🏻
Do not underestimate this camera. This thing is brilliant. I have this camera. And i am happy as photography is my hobby. In taking photos it is not really the gears it is the composition.
Well said, love this!
I'm a car photographer looking to get into more than just cars, just ordered this camera today and it will be my first actual camera. I currently shoot on my galaxy s8 so I'm excited for this.
I think you're gonna love it! Hope you take some incredible photos!
Mabi Joski thanks man! You can follow my Instagram to see some photos if you're interested!

Idk why everybody hatin on the music, I liked it. It was very “happy” oriented
I think it was too "electronic" for most people haha, glad you didn't mind it!
Fantastic I am also fond of photography
Looking cool bro

Great review..Thanks..Im making my purcahse today
Awesome, hope you love it as much as I do!
That music is fire🔥🔥❤️
I think you're the first person in the entire comment section to say that, thanks 😂
@@JoshWiniarski you're welcome
Hey man!! What were your settings that you used ? I have the same camera but my pictures come out really really really bad (believe me when I say really), the quality also comes out good .. sometimes too bright etc.. you know
I like how he provided us samples
Love the video man. I'm about to cop the Canon T6. There's a great deal on it at EBay. Looking to improve my content I can't wait!
Dude ebay is the way to go! I got mine refurbished on a Black Friday deal, but camera gear is so expensive, you can often get it in near perfect condition for way less! Hope you create some awesome content!
Good video. I’m a professional photographer and I was really impressed with your photography skills. Your photos were a bit underexposed, though. Also, what camera were you using for the video?
Thanks I appreciate the feedback! I used a point and shoot for the video (Sony HX9V linked in the description). Been steadily improving since this video was uploaded😀
Thanks man!, you realy helped me.
And what lens you used in this video? (In the t6)
Glad I could help! I used a canon 18-55mm lens, as well as a canon 75-300mm lens.
really good in low light ive noticed
Nice work bro
Thanks, much appreciated!
Useful video. Returned my Nikon D3400 and waiting to receive my Canon t6 this week. Had the Canon t2i Year’s ago and missed it. Couldn’t figure out the Nikon - so am “sticking to what I know” and staying with Canon. Will look to see if you have other videos using this camera in manual settings. Need a refresher on ISO, shutter speed, aperture and other manual settings. Later 🤙🏻
Hope you enjoy it, been loving mine!
Gas works 💪💪
💯
Can you put down the list of ISO that you put and sutter speed and aperture please next time?
Yep for sure! I should have done that this time my bad!
That's what i use to make my videos 😍
was any photo or video Edited and imported in at full resolution?
The photos are unedited (to my knowledge they should have been RAW which is why they look a little flat) and should be imported at full resolution, however, I was using a mediocre editing software when making this and I could not tell you for certain if the codec the video was exported in makes them look worse or not.
Getting that close to geese is either very brave or very stupid lol
Can I use external microphone with cannon 1300d?
Unfortunately you cannot plug in an external microphone. If you use an external microphone, you will have to record audio to a separate device and sync the audio and video in post. Hope this helps!
Is this on just regular camera settings or did you change any settings ? ( on the canon)
Settings such as white balance and camera contrast etc. are normal, however some of the shots may have been taken on manual (meaning i chose shutterspeed, iso, and aperature).
I am a new photographer, is Canon 1300d a good choice for first camera? Please Answer me, Thanks
Totally! This is an incredible first camera! Some of my most successful photos have been taken on this guy! The only thing I would say is that it isn't a very good dslr for video, but if you're just wanting to do photos definitely consider the T6.
Thanks
Were those photos edited in post or are they all as taken? Because I’ve had this camera for years and can’t get those results 😂😢
Would it be a good camera if you are new to DSLR cameras and want to take portraits?
Absolutely! It's a really good bang for your buck and great for new photographers! If you purchase a Canon 50mm f 1.8 lens (or the cheaper knockoff version I made a video on) you'll get STUNNING portraits!
Hi Josh, Is it possible to capture in a soccer sports (a rapid way) ?
This camera shoots 3 photos per second. With the right lens (like a 55-250mm STM) you'll definitely be able to get great shots, but this is not a sports camera. Hope that helps!
Yay👏👏 was wanting to see some actual pictures taken. I have a Cannon Power Shot SX 750 and this (now turned 49yr fossil nana)😆got A Cannon Rebel T6 1300 camera kit it came with an extra lense isn’t that great. Now I think I’m ready to at least attempt some pictures
That's awesome, glad to hear it! I bet you'll love using a DSLR!
What lens did u used here? 18-55mm lens? Thanks!
For this video all I used was the kit lens (18-55mm) and a 75-300mm lens.
Mabi Joski oh great! Thank you so much!!
Awesome video btw!
Thanks, glad I could help!
You should put the pictures with an edit on them too, to show how far you can take the images from this camera, very nice video still, not too much talk, just action 👍🏻
omg nice photos iam gonna get one 😍💞💞📸📷
Excited for you!
thanks iam gonne to take Canon 1300D or 1200 d its a good choise !
Have you ever had a sensor dust problem with this camera? I want to buy it but it doesn't have a self-cleaning mechanism for its sensor.
I have not. Take that with a grain of salt, I'm a sample size of 1, but I haven't had a problem. For whatever it's worth though, I use an 80D now which does have a self cleaning mechanism, so I don't use this camera as much anymore.
@@JoshWiniarski thanks for responding. How long have you used the Canon T6? Did you change its lens often? I'm torn between this one and the Canon SL2. I wish I had the budget for an 80D.
For whatever it's worth the SL2 is better all around. It can take more photos per second, do better video, has a flip screen, etc. I've only used an SL2 for about a day (never owned one myself) but it's also smaller and more compact believe it or not. But if it's more expensive or for whatever reason the T6 makes more sense for you, I only used it as a main camera for maybe 8 months or so, but in that time I did use it a lot. I upgraded more for video capabilities than photo. If video is a consideration with your camera, don't even consider the T6, but if not it takes great photos for the price!
Show de bola!!
bola?
Super legal 👍
love it from Tanzania
Thanks :)
What's the zoom like with no extra lenses? I'm debating coming from a Canon Powershot SX50 to this and I can get right up and close to the moon with it.
So when you buy a dslr you normally have the option of purchasing it with no lenses, or a kit lens or 2. The typical kit lens is 18-55mm and you won't be able to get anywhere near the moon with that. Now if you buy a bundle with the 18-55 and 75-300mm lenses, the 75-300mm will be able to get you a decent shot of the moon. Unfortunately it will be tough to beat the zoom on the camera you own without spending a fair amount of money, however the quality of images on this camera will be far greater allowing you to crop them down afterwards. Hope this helps!
Thanks, it does help! Do you have any recommendations for zoom lenses for it? Willing to spend a little as it's probably the only lens I plan on getting + the one that comes with the camera.
So currently you can pick up a bundle from canon on Amazon which includes the camera + the 2 lenses I used in the video for $500 which is a pretty good deal. If you want to take a look at that it's called "Canon EOS Rebel T6 Digital SLR Camera Kit with EF-S 18-55mm and EF 75-300mm Zoom Lenses (Black)." Now the 75-300mm is considered to be a relatively low performing lens and tends to get a bad rap but that's simply because it's the cheapest zoom lens made by canon. A step up from that would probably be the Canon EF-S 55-250mm F4-5.6 IS STM Lens. You can get the international version of that lens for about $150 on amazon, or spend more for the US one. If you're willing to spend $600 there's also the 70-200mm f4 which is an incredible lens! I have a video on the 75-300mm if you want my opinion on that lens, I think it's a pretty good option but if you're willing to spend more I'd reccommend the 55-250mm.
Hey, I don't know if I'm going to be helpful, but I own the Canon SX60HS and although I really like it, there's nothing like a DSLR. The image quality on bridge cameras is not very good. I'm not saying is bad, but you have to always shoot in great lighting, otherwise you are going to get noisy pictures.
Also, if you are only going to take pictures of the moon, at some point you are going to get bored. If you always shoot birds, or that kind of stuff and your budget is not very big, then I do recommend you to get it and get a nice tripod. Anyways, whatever you decide I think it's going to be good for you
I really enjoyed this video! Very fun and exciting. I currently have Nikon D3100. It's a pretty old cam, but takes amazing pictures. I am looking to up grade a bit and came across this cam on Amazon. I came across an amazing deal. Do you think this camera would be good for portrait and studio photography?
Wow thank you! I'd say it's a pretty decent lens for portraits and studio work. If you're looking to take portraits, I'd recommend looking into a 50mm 1.8 or 50mm 1.4. If those are too zoomed-in the 35mm is nice as well (although more expensive). Hope this helps, let me know if you have any more questions!
@@JoshWiniarski Thank you for the fast response! I have a 50mm and 35mm by YONGNUO for my Nikon. I found out it can be used by Canon. I am excited lol
@@dreikdreik22 Awesome! Take some sweet pictures for me!
are the photos taken with the kit lense ?
Yep, the 18-55 and the 75-300mm were the 2 lenses used!
It’s not one going to talk about how this dude just took a picture of some straight up trash
hay Mabi. do yo recommend this for starting amateur photography? what about CANON PowerShot SX60 HS 16? or SONY DSC HX350? or CANON EOS M10? which one is your recommendation? tnx
If you're just looking to take pictures, I'd recommend the Canon T6. The advantage to this camera is that you'll be able to switch out the lens for other ones if you really start to find a passion for photography. The other cameras are likely better for video, because the canon T6 does lack continuous autofocus for video. The EOS M10 is definitely a good middle ground, plus like some of the others it has a flip out screen. Are you looking to take photos, video, or both?
thank you so much. My focus will be on taking photos but of course video is important as well. Im still confused.
What can I do to help solve your confusion?
If you were in my shoes which one would u buy? considering that t6 is more expensive+ your comments
And also you didn't mention anything about sony dsc hx35o. maybe its not comparable to the canons that I mentioned? is that so? (sorry to ask lots of questions)
Im confused canon has two lines for beginners??? 3 digit and 4 digit? Or are they different levels because 2 digit is semi pro 1 digit is pro 3 and 4 is beginner am i right? Also the 4 digit line cameras seem bigger but lighter
So you are correct in that 1 Digit is the pro lineup (1D, 5D, 6D , 7D), 2 digit is semi-pro (80D, 70D, 60D), and I would classify both the 3 digit and 4 digit as entry-level. The 3 digit I believe are the "i" version of the rebel series cameras (T7i, T6i, T5i) which are superior versions of the most basic entry level cameras. The 3 digit or "i" variants typically have features such as dual pixel af, microphone jacks, flip lcd screens etc. Hope this helps!
@@JoshWiniarski oh no wonder thanks for replying
No problem!
Become one with the ducks in order to get shots of the ducks...
Thank you! I will do that
Hey man thanks for the vid I wonder if I can take photos of people and then sell them do you think I should buy this camera
Are you talking about being a portrait photographer? This camera is totally fine for taking portraits, and even charging for them! What will make a lot more of a difference is the lens you put on it, how you edit the photos, and obviously how good you are at taking the photos. I would highly recommend a lens with a low aperture number like a 50mm f 1.8 if this is the case! Hope this helps!
Thanks a lot for your advise
Not a problem!
What song is this ????? It's a very happy song
What do you use to get that aspect ratio
I edit in premiere pro. Can't remember if I did back when I made this, but you can either change your project's ratio, or use matte bars and just cover up part of the footage. Either way works!
Estou em dúvida em comprar a T6 ou Nikond3000
Msm cena
Hahahah loved your video
Thanks for taking the time to let me know! Much appreciated!
Would this camera be a good beginner camera?
I think it's a GREAT camera for beginners! If your looking to do video as well I would recommend the SL2, T6i, or T7i, but this is cheaper than those and will work great for taking photos! Hope this helps!
With what lences are those photos
Canon 18-55 and Canon 75-300mm lenses!
Hey man! What app/software do you use for professional photo editing??? I have the same camera and love the way your pics come out!
All pictures shown in this video are actually completely un-edited! The pictures on my Instagram though, are all edited using Adobe Lightroom!
Nice vídeo
Thank you!
what lenses did you use?
18-55 and 75-300!
Does it automatically go into portrait mode when you zoom in or is that slow thing you have to set before the photo is taken? The photos with the blurred background I believe
So there's no such thing as "portrait mode" on a DSLR camera. If you're thinking of what iPhone's do, they fake what a DSLR does naturally through software. If you wan't a blurry background you have to manually adjust your settings on a DSLR (the lower the aperture number the blurrier the background), and depending on the focal length and aperture of your lens, the amount of "blur" you can get varies. Hope this helps!
Love the video, could you help us with settings
Sure, what settings were you needing help with?
What are your settings when taking regular pictures
Josh Winiarski shooting mode settings
So unfortunately that's a really tricky question. While shooting this video I believe I was either on P or auto modes. Nowadays I pretty much exclusively shoot on manual settings. If I shoot with the T6 I do have some general rules though. First, I never let my ISO go above 1600. On this particular camera I've found going above that results in a noisy/grainy photo. A good place to start with shutter-speed is either 1/160 or 1/200 and adjust from there. If it's really bright outside take it to 1/320, 1/500, or 1/800 as needed. If it's too dark, try going to 1/80, or 1/60 (just remember you will have to keep you hand very steady). Aperture depends entirely on the lens I'm using and what I'm shooting. For portraits I like to go to f/2.8 or lower, and for landscapes f/7.1 or higher. IN SUMMARY: a good place to start is typically 1/160, f/4, ISO on auto. Hope this helps but there aren't any settings I ever stay at for any length of time. If manual settings is too overwhelming, try out TV and AV modes to adjust certain settings while leaving the others on auto!
Josh Winiarski thank you so sooo much
👌🖒
😀
I want to buy such camera but i don't have enought money,,,
Yeah camera's are unfortunately quite expensive. If you have a smartphone you can still get some pretty nice pictures with those to see if photography is something you really want to invest in. Also I would HIGHLY suggest buying refurbished from canon if on a budget. That's how I got the 2 lenses and camera in this video and they look and work as good as new and still have a 1 year warranty!
Go to QVC today they have a great bundle for 399 for that camera and you can do installments of only $70 a month for 6 months
buy it on credit on eBay. If you search "sold" listings on ebay and make sure you compare and get a good price, you can just resell it on ebay for what you paid for it a few months later. So you're basically renting it for the cost of credit card interest, which would be like $5-7 per month (better yet save up and pay cash) If you get one thats 2 or 3 years old and has already depreciated in value, you'll more likely be able to sell it for what you paid for it a few months later. Voila, you're on your way to a new career for $5-7 per month maximum
Seattle I see.
Yep!
Nice
Thanks!
Welcome
Anyone know the lens he shot these with?
My bad, I should have specified. These were shot with an 18-55mm and a 75-300mm!
New subs here ^_^ love the photo review.
Awesome, thank you so much!
I will buy this camera on friday because, in Finland its only 300e [Euro]
That's awesome, I've been absolutely LOVING mine! Definitely going to be using it for future content!
Mabi Joski Thank you so much for review. 😀
My pleasure, I hope you take some awesome photos!
Mabi Joski sure! 😀
Mabi Joski what lens you have?
What are you settings
I believe I left it on automatic for this video. Obviously this isn't ideal, some photos are overexposed a little, some are under.exposed, some are noisy...in hindsight it may not have been the most fair test but it sort of showcases the limitations of the camera and a good amount of beginner DSLR users leave it in automatic anyways.
What kinda software would you recommend to edit pictures and videos? Thanks!
Adobe Lightroom is pretty much the undisputed favorite for editing photos. It is a little spendy though at $10 a month. Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut, or Sony Vegas are all really good for video but also expensive. You might be interested in "Gimp" which is essentially a free version of Photoshop, and "Corel Video Studio" for editing videos. Hope this helps!
Awesome. Thanks for replying back. Im trying to take pictures from the rebel t6 and edit them to look more professional that’s why I wanted to get your opinion.. I’m gonna give the free ones a try and if it didn’t work out then go for adobe.
Sounds like a good plan, hope you take some incredible photos!
Is it good for portraits and night photography?
This camera will be fine for portraits (in fact they'll look great when paired with a 50mm f 1.8 lens). As far as night photography goes the camera definitely works but there are better options out there. Your best bet is to get a lens with a big aperture (such as the 50mm f 1.8) so you can let lots of light in. I would say the iso is fine up untill 1600 but at 3200 you'll start to see some noise and at 6400 the photos will pretty much only be useful for personal use as they can get quite noisy. If you're using a tripod and doing longer exposures it works well, and even shooting handheld the T6 is better at night than my smartphone. Hope this helps!
Mabi Joski thank you!
No problem!
How is this camera quality at night?
The quality at night is rather low for a DSLR, however this doesn't necessarily mean that it's bad! It's better than most smartphones and inexpensive point and shoots. 1600 is the max iso I would shoot with it at before expecting significant noise, however it goes up to 6400. If you want sample images, you can scroll down on my instagram, everything from the yellow/golden bridge night pic and down was taken with the canon T6. If the low-light isn't as good as you'd like, you can always get a faster lens (a lens with an aperture like f2.8 or f1.8). Hope this helps!

Pictures were taken on auto yep!
man you changed your photo the former was cool man
Yeah I liked it, but it was time for an update!
@@JoshWiniarski man why when i tried to use the photo editor the result is not so good which one do you think would be better for a beginner light room or Photoshop
@@falklandsfalklands7469 Personally I would say Lightroom is easier. I use Lightroom for 95% of my workflow, only using photoshop if I really wanna tweak a photo.
@@JoshWiniarski ok
And is it good for videos ?
Not really. The quality is decent, 1080p at 30fps, however this camera lacks continuous autofocus meaning it will not adjust focus if a subject is moving, you will have to focus manually. If you want to do video too, look at the canon T6i, T7i, or the SL2! I would really recommend the SL2!
What kinda of fricking noise do you call what is playing hear 😁🔫
It may not have been the best choice...
Whole video is made with Sony Cyber-Shot?
Except for the photos yep! It's an older point and shoot but it was pretty high quality when it came out, and in my opinion it still looks pretty decent today.
Mabi Joski Will you recommend Canon 1300d for videos and photos?
While I love my T6 to death for taking photos, the video feature is certainly lacking. The actual quality is fine, but the on-board microphone isn't great and there isn't any way to hook up an external. This is a minor issue. The big problem is that the T6 lacks the ability to focus while recording without being really jittery and hunting for focus. I've found for instance that the point and shoot I recorded this with (which is under $100 on ebay) is far superior in terms of video. The best budget dslrs for video as well, would have to be the T6i or Sl2 (at least made by canon). If you're going to be taking photos 95% of the time though, the T6 will be fine. Hope this helps!
Mabi Joski Thanks brother. My main concern was to buy for videos but now, I'll go for T6i.
Don't mention it! The dual pixel auto focus in the T6i should be incredible for video, plus you can add an external mic and use the flip out screen. I think you'll love it!
Was this shot with a kit lens?!
Photos were shot on a 18-55 (kit lens) and a 75-300mm. Video was shot on a point and shoot!
@@JoshWiniarski I wish I could afford a nice 70-300mm
@@SSJSephiroth Whoops my bad! I mean to say 75-300mm. The 75-300mm is much cheaper than a 70-300 (shameless plug but I have a video on it haha). It's actually one of the cheapest lenses canon makes (not that any lens is cheap but it's much more affordable than a 70-300).
@@JoshWiniarski I'll look into that! I want to do some wildlife photos!
Do you think I should buy in 2019 ?
For the most part, when buying a camera body it simply comes down to budget. If this camera is about the price you want to spend, then sure go for it! If it's a little expensive you can get a T5, if you can spend more, consider the T7. I wouldn't worry too much about it being too old. Many people keep there camera bodies even when 1 or 2 newer versions come out. What are you looking to use the camera for? Are you looking to spend around $300 or closer to $500? Do you want to do video or just photo? If you can tell me a little about your plans I can help you decide if this camera is a good fit for you!
Josh Winiarski ok so I mainly want a camera for shoe photography, that may sound weird lol and some street photography. And looking to spend around 250 to 430
Nah that's not weird at all! Product photography and street photography are really cool! Something like a T6 would be a pretty good choice!
If you can afford it, consider looking into a Canon EFS 24mm STM lens (I have a video on it, but any video on it would be helpful haha). It's a pretty good lens for what you're trying to do it sounds like!
Nice , music “ SUCKED”
So I've been told 😂
How can i take portrait pictures
That's a bit of a broad question, but typically if you're taking portraits you want a small aperture number. That makes the background blurrier which helps viewers focus on the person in the portrait. Hope this helps!
@@JoshWiniarski omg thank u best camera reviewer
So i dont need to buy the 50mm lens?
It depends entirely on the look you're going for. A blurry background (Bokeh) is a little more complicated than that. I have a video called "Bigger, Better, Blurrier Bokeh...In 60(ish) Seconds!" that explains easy ways to get a blurrier background with a camera. A 50mm is known as a portrait lens because the aperture can go down to 1.8. Something like an 18-55mm lens can only go down to 3.5 which won't get as blurry (the lower the "blurrier"). But there are lots of things that go into getting a shallow depth of field so I'd recommend watching my video or another one like it to get a better understanding!
Final question is the zoom good in this camera
Sure wish the AUDIO on this was louder than the MUSIC. I go to turn up the volume so I can hear what he’s saying... then get my eardrums blasted by the music. 😩
The soundtrack was a mistake man, the pictures did not:)
Oh believe me...I'VE BEEN TOLD haha thanks for not tearing me apart too badly 😅
gasworks?
Yep!
como se llama la cancion de fondo?
Revenge, link in description!
I loved the photographic shots you make ... congratulations

Not edited, the song used is called "Revenge" by Vexento

It wouldn't even let me take a photo ughh
Did you receive a defective product?
What the Hell is that crap noise in the background
Is this camera good for YouTubing
Unfortunately it isn't very good for UA-cam at all. It's a great first DSLR for taking photos, however it lacks continuous autofocus in video mode which is something you really need if you're going to be filming yourself. If you're looking for a canon camera for youtube, some really good options are the canon sl2 and canon m50. They are quite a bit more expensive, but will allow you to grow into them in the future. I've personally used the SL2 and it's a great all-around UA-cam camera! And for whatever it's worth I'm saying this as someone who bought a Canon T6, and upgraded to an 80D in a relatively short time. If you have any questions let me know, I'd be happy to help!
Josh Winiarski on a scale of 1-10 how good at YouTubing is it oh and thx os much but I’m looking for a canon camera awesome for YouTubing and photography but not to expensive any ideas?
I'd give it like a 2. The quality may be decent, but in video you essentially have to focus manually. For instance, if you are filming yourself talking and are in focus, but move towards the camera or move forward or backward the camera will not track you. Every time you want to focus on something else, you have to hold down the shutter button. The T6 really isn't meant for video at all. I'd consider looking into the Canon SL1, you can find them used relatively cheap and it will be a lot better than the T6 for UA-cam. The Canon T5i might also be a good option. If you can pay a little more the Canon SL2 is better than both of those though!
Josh Winiarski so the sl1 and t5i are good for videos and pics?
@@stupiddd7406 Correct, both of those will be pretty good for entry level DSLR Video/Photo!
Music is not up with the mood
Nikond3400 is better
Jesteś Polakiem? Or you just have a Polish surname? :D
I'm part Polish, but I've never been to Poland haha.
irritating background music
So I've been told 😅
That awful sound that is so annoying when your not talking is some of the worst crap I've heard
Ouch, my apologies!
That music is soooo annoying
Sorry about that!
damn... either you don't know how to use this camera or the only really great shots you can get with it are from very close. The goose butt and the coffee cup look great but anything far away is not sharp at all... the shoes on the wire look terrible for example. No detail. I hope to god you aren't a pro because then that means there's no hope for me to get very much out of this camera!
very much Lund video
That intro noise SUCKS
So I've been told 😂
Song is strat cancer
It's not for everyone haha
