To the Rev., that was somebody’s child, a “child” that had a rifle with them that kept reaching for it after being instructed to keep their hands on the dash. The level of ignorance being displayed by the protesters and this Rev. is truly astonishing. Maybe learn how to raise your children properly, as in don’t do dumb sh!t and maybe they won’t end up dead because of their ignorance. But this won’t happen, instead, you’ll blame the police for a loss that could’ve been prevented if that “child” did what they were told, especially given the situation.
What was he pulled over for? You don’t have to follow directions because big bad cop stops a car full of black kids and a gun and says “I need to investigate” what was it a traffic violation? You go from that to shots fired?

These people need to wait for the investigation to be thoroughly looked at so there are no doubts. Everyone always jumps to protest without all the facts. Black folks always think their victims when in a lot of cases it’s their own actions that cause these tragedies. Wait until the police have done their job and everything is released before hitting the street’s yelling justice. If the cop screwed up then he will pay but if it shows this young black males actions caused his death then maybe people should learn from his mistakes so it doesn’t have to ever end like this case.
The “outrage” is ridiculously outrageous and purely senseless… For those of you that have never been an LEO (which is probably 99%+ of you), the police officer unarguably followed the UoF - Use of Force Model and deadly force was warranted. The subject did not comply, which resulted in the “lawful and authorized” escalation of force, which was unfortunately deadly force in this situation. People need to realize that when pulled over, put your hands in clear vision of the police officer and follow all instructions… Verbal arguments, altercations, and/or physical non-compliance will result in an escalation of force. In other words, shut up and do what you’re told (this is for the safety of both the subject and the officer). BL folks, you’re required by law to follow and comply with police officer instructions (whether you like it or agree with it)... Failure to do so is both extremely stupid and dangerous. It’s tragic that the young man was killed, but it was his own fault (for failure to comply), and that needs to realized and understood by all.

@@fritzisme4547 It’s the fact that the subject was non-compliant that resulted in lethal use of force… The LEO instructed him “4X” not to reach for the gun, and he did so anyway. The subjects non-compliance escalated the force level, which in-turn caused the “legal and authorized” use of deadly force. Regardless of race, when a police officer pulls you over, follow instructions… It’s not a difficult concept to understand and follow - Actions have consequences 🤷🏾♂️ And as for the “elephant in the room”, the AK pistol… A normal person doesn’t go rolling around town at 10 pm with an AK pistol (especially one sitting on the center console), unless they’re up to no good… This was preposterous at best, and utterly stupid at worst. A chain of bad decisions on this kid’s behalf got him killed, contrary to what the protesters want to argue.
Officer Mason Wells has had to resign from two different police departments been reprimanded four different times for police misconduct and this is someone that they're still allowing to work on the police force and work with the community his behavior is completely outraged even in these situations where he is approaching these people he is still extremely out of control and look into cause a chaotic environment between the African-American community
I do believe there are more police behaving themselves now due to the body camera footage, it’s quite evident, however, the body cameras have shown to be more in the police favor. Less “gotcha” footage than was expected
