The new camera is great! Nice video of the Blues! The footage of the aircraft being towed was fun too. Hand prop'ing is a distinct skill, and a bit frightening. A few years back, Kermit Weeks brought a half dozen World War One era aircraft up to Oshkosh and was doing engine start demo's on them. Very very cool, although a bit scary having a large crowd near a spinning prop.
NASA used to put some aircraft out on the ramp some years back. The WB-57 was a regular static display that I remember years back. The WoH facebook said it'd be out on display this weekend, too.

The F-16 in red white & blue is in honoure of the first F-16 prototypes / pre-production models back in the mid 1970's. The type is still going strong. Yeh, the Phantom will burn your rear end, scrape knuckles, leave scars on your head, knock ground crew around, and get the air crew safely back home. No half measures.

I love them so much i actually got a blue angles tattoo on my forarm. That was our family's favorite pastime going to airshows. Now im trying to get my daughters into it. They like going but not like i did. I cant wait to go to one of you guys airshows. They seem a lot better than ours out here in mass
I have a Sony cam that's 1080p & surround sound. Has a 10 power zoom Zeiss lense. A fantastic camera & so easy to operate. Can't beat it for the $. I hope that somebody will do the whole airshow and post it. Love to be there but it impossible to be. P.S. Long Live Phantom II !!!. Can I order a F-100 Misty T Shirt online?
I would suggest not using that extreme stabilization on the sony camera. Use the basic stabilization. I cannot remember what it is called but you will fight the camera constantly to keep moving aircraft in view. I have that same camera btw so I know how it is filming planes.

Last year the WB and a nasa T38 were on display at the show! I think maybe the year before they weren’t though.
