Oh, could this be a hint at an upcoming video? ;)
If you're wondering why I'm putting some of my characters to guard during the first part it's because I didn't have the protagonist's "BossDamage" ability, which does a lot of damage to Pandora. It was safer to grind for it during the first half of the fight rather than risk it during the second.

Actually it was rated K-A. But that game should've been rated T for language, violence, brief nudity, gambling, scary images, complex gameplay. I don't know what the ESRB rating company was thinking when they rated the game.
I know because I've played Revelations Persona on my Playstation Classic mini console.

The SFX and music gives a completely different atmosphere.
The music pretty much made this boss fight unique. Considering how this is the worst qualities of maki and the potential destruction it brings.
Sadly they had to ruin the atmosphere with the pss version, it's mostly better on almost everything except the music.
I wish they could at least let people choose which songs to use. Good thing there's a patch for it though.
Too bad that patch is missing a few songs.

However the atmosphere of the battle is more fitting for the psx versión.

I’m late but it actually doesn’t do that. The only battle themes that do this are the regular boss theme, the Tesso theme, and the Snow Queen final boss theme
This fight suddenly takes on a whole new meaning when taking Persona 4 into consideration. Think about it, you're essentially facing off against Shadow Maki.

I wouldn't say it takes on a whole new meaning. Both games are referencing Jungian psycholgy and the assimilation of the shadow. You are indeed facing shadow Maki here. That isn't something you're interpreting retroactively because of the later games, that's just how it is.

Granted, Castlevania Bloodlines was GA (General Audiences) and was also pretty gorey.
Yeah and the ESRB Rating were misrated, especially with Lufia 2 Rise of the Sinstrals, I would've done a better job of at least being accurate with rating a game and not mislead them though I would still be imperfect as I'm a human being.

didn't know Resident Evil was a turn based dungeon crawling RPG at some point.
I remember using only two items against the butterfly, one to reflect magic for three turns when her hair is blue, and one to reflect physical attack for three turns when her hair is pink. So pretty much, I let her kill herself. I guess when they made the remake, they took out these items. Forgot what they are called.
The items are still in the game.
They're called magical guard and physical guard.
As from someone who played the psp version (with the music patch), it was a interesting fight, though magical guard made the boss into a joke.
They're not as effective as the original version. You're only invincible for one turn. The original one gave you three turns of invincibility. I guess they tried to balance the game a little bit more.

Thank god we don't have something like am multi-leg, suggestive, body horror eldritch horror like Pandora. Now adays, tye themes in the more popular Persona games are exceptance of death, the mystery of the Midnight Channel, and rebellion against corrupt people, from a crime boss becoming an priminister of Japan to actuall God, like Yaldabaoth and more recently (spoilers) an Iphone AI that becoming an God (like Skynet from with an god complex, that actually reached Godhood).
Still missing the old days.

I've defeat Pandora using the Physical Barrier and Magical Barrier, it was a hard game for me to play even with the save states on the Playstation Classic Mini.

¿Cómo saco a este jefe ?
Jefe final de la historia principal (final bueno), aunque el juego no te dice exactamente como elegir los finales hay ciertas pistas.
SPOILERS:
*Hay 2 rutas en este juego: la normal y la de la reina del hielo; la normal sigue cuando vas tras Kandori. La segunda se desbloquea cuando después de despertar a tu Persona, decides investigar la leyenda con los estudiantes del colegio, y encuentras la máscara en el gimnasio.
*Hay 2 finales en cada ruta (bueno y malo) los malos se obtienen:
--Al contestarle a Mai las respuestas negativas en el bosque perdido, ocurrirá una pelea de jefe con su oso y el final malo ocurre después de vencer a Kandori.
--En la ruta de la reina de hielo, si al completar las 3 torres tienes menos de 8 fragmentos, ocurre una pelea de jefe y se activa el final malo.
Lol this must be the most boring persona game for everyone. No one I've seen comes to this fight with overpowered personas like athena or Lucifer. Everyone is here at level 50 to 65 or so personas. Every other shin megami tensei game people grind till they have the strongest skills and personas.

@Lani Treasure Hunter have the game and played it till I was level 68. Didnt see a point for grinding till the end. Played eternal punishment, 3 fes , digital devil saga 1 and got all the way to 99. It was fun playing those personas. Revelations not as much. Should use your head first not your ass when you talk

Making the point that no one on youtube has shown level 99 characters from revelations. Wasnt talking about the other personas or other jrpgs. Were did you get your logic for arguments?
