Can Word check similarity from another doucment instead of online source?

Its not accurate i once checked similarity for someone and it was 3% and then when the person used a different software it was 47%

Yh they do
I use to have the similarity checker in editor , now i don't see it anymore.
Sadly, it is inaccurate. The percentage shown is always much less than the actual percentage plagiarism.
There is no similarity button in my ms word 365
Do you have the Office 365 A3 or A5 subscription? You will need that to get Similarity Checker

Currently english only, but more languages coming in the future
It does not work in Microsoft Word.
