*New to rocking protective styles* I’ve never had twists but I have had boxed braids. I was told you can’t wash or rinse your braids. Is there a different rule for twists or dose it depend on the type of hair you use?

Have you tried washing the hair with shampoo before you install it? My scalp use to itch like crazy a day after I would get extensions. It turns out that I’m allergic to the chemicals on the hair. Now that I wash the hair I’m good 😎.

I didn’t do it this time. But normally I don’t have issues with the hair. It’s just is this case I did a lot of activities with this hair. My scalp was DUTTYYY. I think I’ll start soaking my hair in the future though see if it changes how long my hair last!!
