I just learned to do passion twists and I've done it twice. It lasts me about a month and a half if. I just redo the twists around the edges when they look rough.
Getting hair done in the US is so expensive! In Ireland, these would cost €20-€30! ($25-$35) Even braids would only cost max €70 ($80) for waist length!
@@commcarts there's a lot of black people in ireland but it depends on where you go lol. The capital, Dublin is very diverse if that's where you want to visit. As you move towards the countryside it's much less diverse, but racism here is different to America and as a tourist, the most you'd probably get are microagressions 🤷🏾♀️
I do my own passion twists and they last me up to 4 months. I wash my hair at least once a month and do my own touch ups especially on the perimeter. I use Outre Spring Twist hair (for the hold) + Regular Spring Twist Hair off Amazon (for the look). It only costs me less than $40 for all the hair since I do it myself. This has been my favorite protective style for 2+ years! I guess it depends on the technique and if you do your own/can maintain it alone or not.
I usually can maintain my twist for 2-3 months , i want to do these as all the styles i been doing lately have been long heavy hard to wash my hair in and its giving the look but i don't like the extra with it. Im going back to short twist and im feeling these. Ill probably go long once this year.
To make the style last longer, I braid my hair first. I part my hair and then do knotless small braids until it has reached the length of my hair. The braids don’t need to be perfect. You’re basically only adding 2-3 pieces of braiding hair to each plait. This ensures that all fly aways are tucked in. I then use the crochet method to put in the hair and twist over the braid to hide it in place. If the ends of your braids pop out you can just tuck it in and it won’t take long. Also if you don’t want to have to thread your braiding hair and you just want to cut off the end when you’ve completed plait, just secure the braid hair with a rubber band at the bottom. This method is good for relaxed or transitioning hair.
I’ve been binge watching passion twist videos for hours because I’m going to attempt to do the rubber band crochet method tomorrow and even though I only leave my protective styles in for like a week, I’m happy I came across your video about the cons of passion twists because now I know to just do it myself and get some practice with it. Regardless of what each individual does, it’s always helpful knowing the pros and cons to protective hairstyles because if my plan was to leave it in longer and pay someone to do it, I know I would’ve been upset it didn’t last long 😂😂 I loved your video! Thank you.
I’m the opposite. Braiding and twisting my hair relaxes me. I watch a good movie or binge watch a series. When I’m finished I feel happy and like a new woman
They can last a lot longer if you cornrow your hair and crochet the passion twists in. This style lasted me about 2 months with retouching the front with rubber bands, washing and taking care of my scalp.
This is still protective style even if some of the ends start unraveling and you see them through the twists. You're still not combing, blow drying, adding heat and messing with your hair. Just add some moisturizer to those exposed ends.
This is my absolute favorite style right now. I can't get enough of it and the fact that I can either do it myself or, have my braider do it is awesome. I don't mind touching up my hair every few weeks because it just lets me moisturize the way I like to and do some good conditioning while I'm at it. Awesome. Love love love!

I’ve had my hair relaxed ever since I was a kid 😅. I’ve recently starting using protective styles to try and let my natural hair safely grow back. I’m graduating high school next week, and I wanted a style different from the regular box braids, and this is perfect for me. A couple weeks after graduation, I plan on going back to box braids for a vacation to Jamaica 🇯🇲💖
I did these for my cousin for the first time and she called me about a week and a half later to say her hair was popping out. I felt so bad but now i dont feel so bad because this is the norm for this style. Will attempt again but will try a different method
I totally agree with this message! Installed mine myself about 3 weeks ago and they are already trash. My real hair is NOT a good look with this silky synthetic hair anymore and the hair just feels frizzy. I may push for another week, but I'm used to getting around 6-8 weeks with individual braids/twists. I would not pay anyone else a dime to put these in my hair. The pricing is definitely popularity based
this style is so easy to do that I think it's worth it, even though it is not durable and you can reuse the hair if you want to save money. All you need is a free day and about 2 hours. I've done box braids on myself and it took a long, LONG time cause my hair is extra thick. I'm never doing it by myself again! 😂
How did you like it? I've heard the rubber bands cause damage. I just bought my hair for this style and now trying to figure what method I should do lol
As a hairstylist myself, I strangely agree. I feel my prices are already reasonable for my work but I will never pressure a client into getting these done.
I get the pre twisted passion twists from lulutress. I had mine in for a month. I used the individual illusion braid pattern. And my hair was beautiful
Definitely depends on the kind of hair you use! Try a few different packs to find the right texture match for you! Just needs to be curly or have curly ends
I've had multiple hairstylists tell me that this is not worth paying for and don't even offer the service because it doesn't last long and clients will call and complain thinking it's the stylist when its just the style. I guess I am going to have to learn how to do this hairstyle! Enjoyed the video and thanks for the tips
From my own experience smaller size twists that are shoulder length last a whole lot longer and are much easier to maintain than the bigger size and longer twists...
I’ve had mine for 2 weeks and when I go in and oil my scalp i use to edge control to tidy up the twists, not by retwisting but just coiling, but I prefer it slightly messy
I think it depends on the length and size. My passion twists are small, and took about 8 hours. Granted that is including breaks. Because your passion twists are bigger I'm sure they probably won't last as long, they are very nice though!
I completely agree. I installed the braids myself and i ensured to tightly grip the roots and the braids still started slipping early and my roots got so puffy and messy under 2 weeks. I had to redo the front cause i couldn't believe how messy the hair looked at the root. Also my hair pokes out and comes out of the hair so easily. It doesn't have the grip. The style is cute but i doubt I'll do it again.
It is super cute. I just don’t think it lasts as long as I would want it to. For some people it lasts months (based on the comments I’ve seen) , but it just does not hold up for me. I’m thinking of doing them in a crochet style.
Definitely had the same issues hun esp with the root. I redid the style in a shorter version and mixed the waterwave with the yaman afro kinky and it mixed better with my hair. Would do it crotchet next time too #team4chair
I suggest getting the hair on Amazon I get 7-8 backs for 31 dollars. For making it last I suggest using mousse in ur hair every other day (even every day). Mines usually last 4 weeks before it starts to look crazy. I usually re do the front in problem spots and get good hair. The type of hair you get will affect how the hair stays down.
From a hairstylist perspective, my time isn't cheap. You're paying for my time. I could be making plenty of money with the time I'm spending on you. I totally agree with you that this is not a long lasting hairstyle. Yours looks cute 😍
I’m finna redo my hair...this would be the 2nd time I will be retwisting my hair and I’m DEFINITELY not doing this hairstyle again. Imma stick to my regular ole braids cuz I’m good at that😂
in the UK our hair stylist are so cheap, no more than £50 for box braids and stuff like that. idk why in america they charge over $100?? that’s a crazy amount
Me watching this after I just paid $180 for this style and almost $80 on my hair. None of these styles are really that protective for me because after awhile it starts to break my hair off. I can only keep these twists in and box braids in for 3 weeks tops, before it starts to build up on my hair and make my hair come out from the weight of the hair.
I braid my own hair I used to pay for braids when I was younger but I eventually taught myself after the braiders cost was out of control and they took way too long sometimes I’d have to get it done from 6- 10 hours I just bought 3 packs of hair washed and prepped it myself the cost is less than $10 the wooden beads cost another $4 that’s it.
This can be a protective style if you know how to tuck your hair. My 1st set lasted 3 weeks (retwisted the same hair for the 3rd week) I let my hair rest for a week and did a shorter length for 2 weeks
I completely agree. The longer your hair is the shorter it will last. It gave me a good 2-3 weeks. But I did it myself. I'm so glad I didn't pay somebody to do it for me.
Yess!! I LOVE these for vacation! But if you are planning on going swimming or getting wet I wouldn’t recommend unless it’s just a one or two week vacation then it’s perfect! Loved this video btw! You’re very beautiful! 🤎🤎
I do my own hair in general and passion twists last me the same amount of time as when I do box braids, which I keep anywhere from 4-8 weeks. I did my own a couple times last summer for the first time ever and I had so many women complimenting me and asking me where I got them done. When I told them I did them myself they were then asking can I do theirs lol. It was crazy because I had never done them before but I’ve been braiding my own hair in box braids since I was about 16 and I’m 34 now.
I agree! I initially was going to pay someone to do mines because im lazy but I decided to them myself and after I said im glad i didnt pay anyone because it was too easy and I have to retwist them often! Also I got my hair from amazon 7 packs for like 40$ its cheaper then the beauty supply
Liked the video within the first ten seconds. My stylist was a traditional hair braider and wasn’t hip to passion twist ( it was still fairly new but i still sent her the tutorial prior to her doing my hair ). Girl i was walking around looking like i had noodles coming out of my head when she finished. But when i went to touch it up myself, it was actually nice
This right here….I’m going to just start paying to get my hair parted and doing it on my own. Even butterfly locs barely last long but cost so much to get done
Mannn the style doesn’t last LONG AT ALL !!!! mins looked good for about 4 days . The packages of the hair is usually $6-7 a pack in Texas I love it tho !
@@keysha7446 me personally I use a higher end brand as well, RUWA by Expressions. In TX its about $10-12 for a pack of 3. It takes about 3 packs depending on the thickness of the twist. I usually go 6-7 weeks on my passion twist and regular twist, more so because I have soft fine hair not because it looks bad. But my clients push it 2-2-1/2 months. Its all in the technique and knowing how to tuck with passion twist :) practice and patience :)
Same here!😭 See, I did my hair on Saturday, it's Thursday and it's looking like it's a month old. Now I have to tell the hairstylist to redo it cause she didn't do it well
This was the first style I learned to do, I was getting positive comments and booking people after only having done it a few times in my head. Its very easy
I do passion twists all the time I have them in my profile picture. I usually get the crochet hair that are pre-twisted. I cornrow the back of my hair and do about 2-3 rows of single braids in the front. It takes less time but it looks more natural. It usually last me about a month but I don't wrap my hair🤣🤣🤣🤣Not a bonnet or anything I hate it
i just got mine done my sister did them she is a hairstylist she only charged me $50 but i gave her $110 cus she took half my faux locs off and she had some hair already so i didnt have to buy it im pretty satisfied they so cute and i know how to do hair too so ill keep up w them this video was great thanks yours look amazing !
I’m here looking for information! Friend of mine paid $360 yesterday for this style at some ‘African’ salon. She texted me with the quoted estimate and though I tried to talk her out of it, she went through with it. Her reasoning was that she didn’t want to disappoint her daughter! 😩 They completely scammed her! I will be sending her this video!
Yours look so beautiful 😍 Here in Europe (France/Belgium) it costs 40 to 60€ average !! (45 to 65 US $...) I dont know why getting afro hair braided costs so much overseas
i unraveled crotchet passion twist hair and it last longer and look good when i do my clients. their hair doesnt come out because i twist it like im doing rope twist at the top
I paid someone $70 to get mine. So thankful. Cause when I was searching all the other stylists were charging $200 and I honestly felt like that was too much for these twists
Thankfully I have a cousin that loves me charges me less than 50$ to put it in for meeee😁 and I get crochet so my hair is protected and braided down yours look amazing girl!
Okay so just some input that might be helpful also. I’m a cosmetologist and braider. 🌸 Okay I disagree with a few things. I always do my own braids and or twists. Twists take me still a long time and that service is tedious so 150 is more then reasonable for braids and protective styles cause it’s a lot of labor for us stylists. Idk why this generation expects hair services to be cheap. They’re not because a lot goes into it.(Don’t even get me started on color services and why we charge so much) Now I do agree that passion twists takes less time then box braids or locs but it’s still several hours so.. remember we stylists have to pay bills too and most the time we can’t take more than one client a day if doing lengthy braid sessions. So no, anything under 100 isn’t worth it for a stylists UNLESS they’re exceptionally speedy. Some charge by the hour which might be a good route to go if you have a fast as hell braider. But remember the install type matter too. If you use the rubber band method it’s gonna be faster if you braid them in then twist it’s gonna take longer. If you cornrow it up that’s the fastest in my opinion. Just keep that In mind. She’s totally correct tho when she says you can do them yourself, hence why pay for the service. I feel that. But if you don’t wanna do them yourself don’t ask a stylist for a discount cause it’s a ti. Of work. These ARE easy to do your self but it’s tedious and a process and can get frustrating if your not used to it so go for it but be patient with yourself. Takes time to get all these styles down especially on your own head. Also idk why she’s buying such expensive hair for her styles. Synthetic hair should almost NEVER cost more than like 50 bucks and that’s including 7 packs or plus (depending on the texture and brand of hair), jam, AND setting foam. I have NEVER spent more then 50 bucks on the products so idk why she said hundreds of dollars for just the hair. That should never be the case. Amazon sells pretty decent bundles for like 30-45 bucks. Local stores usually have similar pricing from my experience maybe a little more. Honestly guys I’ve done my hair like a million times and never once spent more then fifty on the products. So if you wanna attempt theses yourself there a real cheap way to change up your style. Another thing. I agree with passion twists not lasting as long. However you can get a month out of them or more if you touch them up and take care of them and wrap them up at night. I’ve almost always wear my styles for 2 months. And if you braid these twists in your sections will last longer too. Twists never last me quite AS long as box braids or locs cause your hair sorta comes out and I always do wildly different colors then my natural hair so when ends start poking out it’s much more obvious. Just my input! Her twists look so good! I just was shook when she went over that hair pricing I just had to butt in cause I really never experienced that expensive of synthetic hair. I SUPPOSE if you were doing like micros maybe.. but see the smaller the section the less hair used so usually ya don’t use that much more hair. But that’s just in my personal experience 💕💕
I love this hair style. After a whole month I redid my whole head again and with blonde. I got so many compliments on it when I first did them. I plan on adding curly hair to them to turn them into Goddess passion twist.
This was SO helpful! I wanted to try doing it myself, but chickened out (I recognize my limitations, lol). Now after watching your video, I'm going to take a chance and try it myself. Thanks!
I agree. I just did mine. And they are cute but i can tell it won't last. But as i do my own I can redo anytime. I can't believe how much faster it was than box braids. Ill be doing these 4 a while now instead of braids

@@elya_rose yeah that's true, hair shops are expensive, my mum buys hair in bulk when she goes back to Nigeria every few years 🤣
I do my own passion twists and they last me up to 4 months.
Woooow! that's super cheap. Such a blessing to be able to do your own hair right?
Great idea!
Thank you.
Thank you so much for watching! I agree, to each his own. I’m glad I could help! ❤️
I don't enjoy doing my own hair. I remember hours and hours of braiding and feeling sad/depressed. I've got to learn how to crochet!
I wish I could do it on my own.

Thanks for sharing!! Love that!
I did these for my cousin for the first time and she called me about a week and a half later to say her hair was popping out. I felt so bad but now i dont feel so bad because this is the norm for this style. Will attempt again but will try a different method
It took me some time to figure it out, but I love the style regardless.
You can buy your hair on amazon for a good amount. Got 7 packs for 46.99 also if you have more coily hair, it last longer. Also look at the techniques
I ordered 7 packs on Amazon for 49 dollars, 24 inches.

Please
@@rebekkanghishekwa4809 fr we need to know
Me too
Seriously lol it's beautiful
It’s by cover girl called hustle
I totally agree with this message! Installed mine myself about 3 weeks ago and they are already trash. My real hair is NOT a good look with this silky synthetic hair anymore and the hair just feels frizzy. I may push for another week, but I'm used to getting around 6-8 weeks with individual braids/twists. I would not pay anyone else a dime to put these in my hair. The pricing is definitely popularity based
I would never do these again.😭
Try the Afro Spring Twist, it’s way bettet
this style is so easy to do that I think it's worth it, even though it is not durable and you can reuse the hair if you want to save money. All you need is a free day and about 2 hours. I've done box braids on myself and it took a long, LONG time cause my hair is extra thick. I'm never doing it by myself again! 😂
It’s sooooo much work those box braids 😂
I just did my own passion twists using the rubberband crochet method
How did you like it? I've heard the rubber bands cause damage. I just bought my hair for this style and now trying to figure what method I should do lol
As a hairstylist myself, I strangely agree. I feel my prices are already reasonable for my work but I will never pressure a client into getting these done.
Amen…it IS a lot of work!!
I get the pre twisted passion twists from lulutress. I had mine in for a month. I used the individual illusion braid pattern. And my hair was beautiful
Oh wow! I have to look into that braid pattern. Thanks for sharing!
I just brought this brand today I hope it’s really good
Definitely depends on the kind of hair you use! Try a few different packs to find the right texture match for you! Just needs to be curly or have curly ends
did you try it and if so what hair/brand did you use
I personally order my hair off of amazon they usually give u 6 to 7 packs for 25-30 dollars
Can u post the link.
do you remember the name?
Loved my passion twists!!! Lasted a month. It all depends on how you do them. I got so many compliments.
They are so beautiful!
I've had multiple hairstylists tell me that this is not worth paying for and don't even offer the service because it doesn't last long and clients will call and complain thinking it's the stylist when its just the style. I guess I am going to have to learn how to do this hairstyle! Enjoyed the video and thanks for the tips
Thanks for watching! I dont provide this service to my clients either :/
From my own experience smaller size twists that are shoulder length last a whole lot longer and are much easier to maintain than the bigger size and longer twists...
Hi Jade. For a shoulder length style, do you cut the braid or do the braids come in short length?
@@I_Am_That_Libra Actually both.
I normally cut mine in half and I've also seen shorter length hair at the beauty supply stores.👍🏾
@@Iamwhoiam993 Okay 😎. Thanks.
I’ve had mine for 2 weeks and when I go in and oil my scalp i use to edge control to tidy up the twists, not by retwisting but just coiling, but I prefer it slightly messy
i actually charge less for this style because of the cost of the hair and it doesnt last long
thats smart bc a lot of people can do this hairstyle by themselves
I think it depends on the length and size. My passion twists are small, and took about 8 hours. Granted that is including breaks. Because your passion twists are bigger I'm sure they probably won't last as long, they are very nice though!
Thanks for sharing!
I agree, my passion twist last longer than 2weeks
I braid mine at base first and then twist and when pieces stick out I'll crochet it back through the twists
perfect timing for this vid! i was considering these for a new spring style
Thanks for sharing! ❤️
My aunt and cousins are hair stylists which I am so so grateful for. Had this hair in for 2 months now
From a hairstylist perspective, my time isn't cheap. You're paying for my time. I could be making plenty of money with the time I'm spending on you. I totally agree with you that this is not a long lasting hairstyle. Yours looks cute 😍
Thank you so much!
Thank you for sharing the pros and cons about this hairstyle! It’s great to know that this style is temporary as well!
I’m finna redo my hair...this would be the 2nd time I will be retwisting my hair and I’m DEFINITELY not doing this hairstyle again. Imma stick to my regular ole braids cuz I’m good at that😂
😂😂😂 youuuuu sound like me!
What method did you use?
I find that braiding first then twisting works best for me
It's the worst so far for me,never again.
@@amyasmith16 yes that’s what I did the 2nd time I did them again. I think it’s bc I didn’t braid enough down and started twisting early idk 🤷🏽♀️
I was just on youtube looking up hairstyles for my sister who is going natural and i saw this and just had to comment on how beautiful you are wow
Its a fully protective hairstyle if you conrow your natural hair down and then crochet the passion twist. Hope this helps
in the UK our hair stylist are so cheap, no more than £50 for box braids and stuff like that. idk why in america they charge over $100?? that’s a crazy amount
Where are you going in the UK?! I’ve only seen £90 minimum without the hair
@@tomisoetan9061 truss, it's getting ridiculous
I live in NZ . And this particular style costs $250-$300 😭
Where is it £50 for box braids done well in the U.K.? I have never paid that
Me watching this after I just paid $180 for this style and almost $80 on my hair.
Im a braider and she's speaking facts!. Great video!👍🏼
Thank you!!
Yess!! I LOVE these for vacation! But if you are planning on going swimming or getting wet I wouldn’t recommend unless it’s just a one or two week vacation then it’s perfect!
Loved this video btw! You’re very beautiful! 🤎🤎
Thank you so much! ❤️
It was crazy because I had never done them before but I’ve been braiding my own hair in box braids since I was about 16 and I’m 34 now.
i wish i knew how to braid my own hair :( im 16
I have fine hair so will never put rubber bands to style my hair.
You have to put a conditioning gel on it so your hair will not start to stick out.
my mom is a braider , im thankful because i know people will bunk the prices up for some unknown reasons of it being popular
I agree! I initially was going to pay someone to do mines because im lazy but I decided to them myself and after I said im glad i didnt pay anyone because it was too easy and I have to retwist them often! Also I got my hair from amazon 7 packs for like 40$ its cheaper then the beauty supply
Also, makeup, frames, brows, hair... Bomb!
I love your eye glasses who are they by?
These are from Warby Parker!
Which style? They’re super cute!!
She’s speaking facts !! You can do this at your home by yourself!!
It’s a very nice style. I’ll still continuously do it because it’s sooooo cute, but idk if I’ll ever pay for it. Glad you enjoyed the video!
This right here….I’m going to just start paying to get my hair parted and doing it on my own. Even butterfly locs barely last long but cost so much to get done
Mannn the style doesn’t last LONG AT ALL !!!! mins looked good for about 4 days . The packages of the hair is usually $6-7 a pack in Texas
I love it tho !
Yesss I definitely agree! Thank you for sharing. I'm gonna look into the hair.
My twist lasted for 3 months I used a high quality hair
@@rachellecheri2827 what brand?
@@keysha7446 me personally I use a higher end brand as well, RUWA by Expressions. In TX its about $10-12 for a pack of 3. It takes about 3 packs depending on the thickness of the twist. I usually go 6-7 weeks on my passion twist and regular twist, more so because I have soft fine hair not because it looks bad. But my clients push it 2-2-1/2 months. Its all in the technique and knowing how to tuck with passion twist :) practice and patience :)
Same here!😭
See, I did my hair on Saturday, it's Thursday and it's looking like it's a month old.
Now I have to tell the hairstylist to redo it cause she didn't do it well
This was the first style I learned to do, I was getting positive comments and booking people after only having done it a few times in
my head. Its very easy
I do passion twists all the time I have them in my profile picture. I usually get the crochet hair that are pre-twisted. I cornrow the back of my hair and do about 2-3 rows of single braids in the front. It takes less time but it looks more natural. It usually last me about a month but I don't wrap my hair🤣🤣🤣🤣Not a bonnet or anything I hate it
I was so happy with these passion twists BUT my hair started popping out after a week :(
I should have watched this video before 😂
Oh no!
Got passion twist for my trip to Hawaii...big mistake not water proof!
Mine last & when I do them for my clients, they also last. Well worth the money!
Great video! I was wondering how well this hairstyle holds up without the natural hair slipping through. Thank you!
i just got mine done my sister did them she is a hairstylist she only charged me $50 but i gave her $110 cus she took half my faux locs off and she had some hair already so i didnt have to buy it im pretty satisfied they so cute and i know how to do hair too so ill keep up w them this video was great thanks yours look amazing !
okay rihanna. thank you for the tips😭.

I AGREE WITH U,,, I RATHER HAVE MICRO BRAIDS THAN DEAL WITH THIS,,,I DID IT MYSELF AND ITZ TOO EXPENSIVE,,,
THANK YOU!!! This style does not last and I wouldn’t pay for it.
Me watching this when I got passion twist for the first time 💀
I’m here looking for information!
$360?!!!! Oh noooooo. Unacceptable. 😭
Yours look so beautiful 😍 Here in Europe (France/Belgium) it costs 40 to 60€ average !! (45 to 65 US $...) I dont know why getting afro hair braided costs so much overseas
Thank you! And yes! I wonder why it’s so expensive.
i unraveled crotchet passion twist hair and it last longer and look good when i do my clients. their hair doesnt come out because i twist it like im doing rope twist at the top
So many hairstylists are greedy and selfish in nature to me and some are not. There's some sweet caring and considerate ones.
Very true!
I paid someone $70 to get mine. So thankful. Cause when I was searching all the other stylists were charging $200 and I honestly felt like that was too much for these twists
Wayyyyy too much money.
Abby Jahaira is 50 too much? Lol
I crochet mine in and it lasts a long time
Thankfully I have a cousin that loves me charges me less than 50$ to put it in for meeee😁 and I get crochet so my hair is protected and braided down yours look amazing girl!
she's rlly pretty
love your lipgloss color!! thanks for including the link.
Okay so just some input that might be helpful also. I’m a cosmetologist and braider.
🌸
Okay I disagree with a few things. I always do my own braids and or twists. Twists take me still a long time and that service is tedious so 150 is more then reasonable for braids and protective styles cause it’s a lot of labor for us stylists. Idk why this generation expects hair services to be cheap. They’re not because a lot goes into it.(Don’t even get me started on color services and why we charge so much)
Now I do agree that passion twists takes less time then box braids or locs but it’s still several hours so.. remember we stylists have to pay bills too and most the time we can’t take more than one client a day if doing lengthy braid sessions.
Thanks!
Glad it was helpful!
Mine last 2 1/2 months. The longer you have them the better they look.
