I did this saw ... And really excellent, but it was a bit difficult ...
First was discovering the length of the saw. Then I made a saw of 1.5 m long and 1/4 inch wide, and from that saw established the measures. I also found it difficult to hit the incline regulator of the pulley and also the guide of the saw. But I repeat ... The saw is fast, precise! Great. Congratulations! I suggest you share the measures used in the project to make it easier for beginners.

    Beautiful workmanship. Excellent build.
May I suggest that you take it all apart right down to the last part, and coat every wooden piece with sanding sealer, linseed oil, Tung oil, or your favorite oil stain, and then spray them all down with polyurethane varnish. Then, lightly sand them, and wipe them with a tack rag. Repeat the polyurethane process two more times but don't sand after the last coat. After all of that, put them all back together again. Now your beautiful little saw will be completely impervious to moisture and warpage.

Blessed hands that serve to build the great, the beautiful, to articulate those great ideas that man can invent first in the revolution of his transforming mind before materializing in real actions. Friend Gökmen ALTUNTAŞ, thanks for making easy what seems unthinkable. I tell you that I am a vocation pianist musician, but also a faithful lover of wood, without much experience like the one you show in your videos. That is why it is a true enjoyment of those ingenious works shown as a product of your hands and that serve as inspiration for those who find it difficult to access technologies and knowledge dominated in other contexts by people like you. From Venezuela the deepest admiration to show us without pettiness and with much passion so interesting and neat wooden projects. Affectionately yours

    hi,
i like your vids a lot and intend to make some tools myself soon.
there's only one thing that bothered me about your vid. please don't take this the wrong way because its not meant as an attack, rather a message of concern. i couldn't help but notice you had your fingers dangerously close and on line with your scroll saw when you were cutting out the side cover's top diagonal cuts. as someone speaking from experience, ( i ran the tips of my middle and index fingers through a table saw 30 years ago when i was still a rookie), please take into consideration where you hold and place your hands in relation to the blades. one minor slip and you could loose a finger before you even realized it.
take care and please keep making these great vids.

Hi , I was wondering what size all thread bar did you make your wheel shaft out of .
You said you used ballbearing with a in size dim. Of 8 mm. So I bought some ,but the in side dim.
    Checked 32/64 .
I went to Lowe’s an the only size I could find was 3/8 ,but still that was to big to go through the hole of the bearings.
Please till me what size bar you are using for the shift.
    Thanks
