Chris Jones said the same thing. He didn't mention any names but he called alot of people out for being cowards. He said he knows who they are and they know he knows. It's a shame that in times of unbelievable heroism, we have to hear stories of people who failed to step up to the plate when duty called.
You can tell the change in the times by how vets talk about each other. There was a time where it didn't matter if you liked a guy or not. There WAS a matter of respect. These days it just seems like a popularity contest.
Knight makes some very serious allegations about many members of the unit, including Ty Carter. He certainly seems have very different opinion than many other people interviewed about the battle. These allegations need to investigated. If they are true, then the record needs to be corrected. If they are not true, those accused of misconduct need to be vindicated. Just from this interview, it seems that Knight lacks the mature that many other veterans of Kamdesh have. Though, that doesn't mean what he's saying isn't true. While the interviewer was in an awkward position, I think Knight got off without much scrutiny, and that is on the interviewer. I certainly respect the goal of this podcast, but it is something where action needs to be taken. Maybe an interview of Jake Tapper to speak to his research process.

I was his Section Leader during this deployment to include Cop Keating and I assure you he is completely authentic. This recounting of events is spot on, Kyle Knight is not a person to spin fairytales for his own benefit.
In which part does he contradict himself? All I hear is a very open and straightforward conversation which you rarely get to hear these days. A very good host with a brave guest who's not afraid to tell some truths. Kudos to both of them.
Great Interview. Never gets old hearing stories about COP Keating
Thanks!! 👊
Cool to hear how raw he was about it and the people there.
Amazing thank you this is real Gold 🤝❕
Great interview he really put some perspective on the movie. Loved to hear it.
What a OG. 🇺🇸

I wonder who the people are lying about such a tragedy.
I listened to other podcasts about this. Watch "Midnight Chow" channel.
Alot of them think that Blue Platoon were cowards and didn't do anything.

Well, jake tapper said it himself. Blue platoon, nicknamed the bastards. I have no clue why Carter got that medal. I agree with Kyle.
Thanks man

What does Jake crapper know? What blue platoon told him?

Kyle contradicts himself.. makes me question how authentic vs pay attention to me is in his head?
Well he is being interviewed.

I gots a fever, and the only prescription is more Red Platoon stories.
