Such an amazing looking park. Love the look of the landscape and all of those beautiful Myrtle trees. So many beautiful varieties and shades of flowers. I'm pretty sure this park gets a lot of visitors. But you were lucky to have came on a gorgeous day with hardly anyone around. Perfect and so peaceful. Thank you for the awesome video this morning. And keep them coming. They are very interesting and also enjoyable. Have a great day. 🥰❤🌳🌸👏👍

I made the trip and went this Sunday July 23rd and it seems like they’re in a heavier bloom now than when you took this video just 2 weeks ago. It may just be deceiving to me since I was there in person vs watching a video. I was thinking maybe I went a little too late but it doesn’t seem so after seeing this. Stonebridge Dr and down El Dorado pky is loaded with Crape Myrtles. Stonebridge is a prettier drive but El Dorado has a lot more crape Myrtles if your just wanting to see those. I raise honeybees and I’m amazed I didn’t see one honeybee in the park and I was really looking for them. Butterflies neither. I was trying to see if they were attracted to certain varieties. Pollinators don’t really seem to like them and there’s not a lot of other things blooming in this dry Texas heat. You’d think they’d be all over them when we’re in a dearth. I have Ovate False Fiddleleaf growing wild around my farm pond and I’ve never seen anything that compares to it for attracting butterflies and bees. I have all kinds of pollinator plants for my beehives on my farm and Fiddleleaf ranks #1 here. The butterflies prefer it over the wild butterfly weed I have. My Shoal Creek Vitex trees draw a lot also. I’d rank as #2. Both are an important food source because they bloom now when nectar and pollen are in short supply .

Thank you so much for taking the time to watch my video. This is a hidden gem for sure and I plan to go film this trail again soon. Crape myrtles thrive in the Texas heat for sure, I think El Dorado has such beautiful crape myrtles and they are still starting to bloom. I wish there were more Red varieties there a larger in size l. Hope you’ll watch my other videos on the channel ❤️
