    Logan!... Just an FYI.. the big boys, commercial aviation, are not as specialized as they used to be. There are technicians that excel in each craft ( mech, avi, s/m) now a days. Companies now want some one that can do it all, or at least want too. I've been back i the industry (commercial) as you know for a couple of years now. I actually, just yesterday, had a tech say that he wished he had gone through the avionics course his school offered. Take note that we were sitting in the flight deck of an A321. He was doing an ATSU software update and was fumbling through it a bit, hence why I (Tech Services) was there to aid and show him the ways of avionics...lol. He stated to me he wants to learn more about the avionics systems of the A320 family of aircraft.
    A good aircraft maintenance technician never stops learning...
