Great video. I have found happiness and health through exercise late in life as well. I never exercised as a youth and as I approached 40 was headed down a path towards metabolic syndrome diseases so I set out to lose weight via walking and hiking. After achieving a normal BMI I began running. I am a barefoot runner and I have never been happier or in better shape in my life. I love it and intend to run 4-5 days a week for the rest of my life. Most people can't believe I am over 40 because my body has gotten very toned and I have more energy than when I was in my teens or 20's. I can't wait for bikini season to roll around every year! Movement has given me a great quality of life and barefoot running is ideal for me because it forces me to run softly and go easy on my joints so I can run without major injuries. Barefoot trail running is my real passion, it's very refreshing to connect with nature. I wish everyone could feel the satisfaction of achieving their fitness goals, unfortunately in today's lifestyle it is not easy but you must prioritize and set goals and don't let anything stop you 👣

Ed you are amazing and an inspiration. Keep it up! I took off 40 years and now back for 4 years and almost 62. I just wish I was as fast at Ed at 85!

Wait. I've seen Concordia years ago (25?) in Austin TX , and more recently in Moorhead, MN. I've researched their curriculum, and it's just not for me.

Society conditions the mind to breakdown and believe base on age that you can't do a particular thing. It says at a certain age you are suppose to breakdown, loose your abilities. The body is listening to the mind. I started to eat a certain way at 9 yrs of age and i often say that i am benefiting from it now. I say to my oldest daughter that i have a body of a 40 to 45 yr old man and she asked what does that make her, i said that's something she must work out. There will come a time when someone ask whether your child is your sister or brother , "you say your child is getting older & you stopped". Blessings
