I think attribution of 2014 invasion to wagner could be awfully inaccurate. Russia rented military bases in crimea and most likelly used own regular troops for the invasion.

Only difference is Wagner consists of heavy Islamic extremists. That’s where they get the majority of their brutality, and war crimes. Through the Islamic terrorists they employee. Many Chechens, and alike people.
It's so sad everyone, even Mercenaries are exploiting African resources for their own good, resources that belong to the people but they are incapable of using and benefiting from them.

@@MadBlissOff In Crimea, Russia violated the first principle of international law - that countries may not acquire territory or change borders by force. In terms of Kosovo, the people of Kosovo had the right to self-determination and secession from Serbia because the Belgrade authorities systematically violated civil and human rights of Albanians for years. International law thus allows the proclamation of Kosovo's independence. Heard of the Yugoslav wars? In the late 90's, Serbian officials routinely carried out massacres of ethnic Albanians in the region to 'purify' its land. Not even comparable to the Ukrainian situation.

A private military appears to be a form of responsible deflection from those who orchestrate it, sort of like a legal scape goat or a drone pilot who does real life activities with zero accountability while sitting in a comfortable box.
I don't understand why Wagner has to target other countries for their natural resources when Russia has some of the largest reserves of almost every resource already. Gold: 25-40% of the world's unmined supply Coal: 2nd largest deposits in the world Natural Gas: 19% of the world's total output Petroleum: Top 3 producer in the world Other metals: Uranium (10% global reserves), Nickel (17%) Magnesium (22%)
Because these resources are usually already tapped by other russian companies, Wagner is a business and expands worldwide to make money from untapped resource deposits.
Wagner is like the XOF unit from Metal Gear Solid. A giant private military force with great autonomy who operate everywhere with physical ressources exceeding those of a small country. they have their own means of financing and even win battles alone!

3:33 it was stated that the group was deployed to my country Indonesia, but when it did deployed? I did not see one the streets nor heard one on the news, at least in my area.
Me too. I'm so confuse about the Indonesia one. Paid Soldier is illegal in Indonesia. Gun, military activity is a government only. There has been no proof of Wegner Existence in Indonesia
Not all Wagner does is military. My guess is their presence in Indonesia is related to banking/money laundering or training paramilitary forces (Indonesia has a sizable one in the latter), but I didn't look closely. It's believed that Progozhin has close ties to the country.
American satellites caught them on vacation there, don't mind.
The Same for South Africa? And we know they definitely not looting here.
@elfrjz but even the Blackwater are not allowed to carry gun. Only Indonesia forces are allowed
it's actually funny to hear all this from Americans and Europeans ...
US: "Russian army is bad"
also us: "Wagner group is scary"
The Wagner PMCs have better equipment, but tougher rules. Deserted or did not go on the attack - execution with a sledgehammer.
US Army is good then?
I think attribution of 2014 invasion to wagner could be awfully inaccurate. Russia rented military bases in crimea and most likelly used own regular troops for the invasion.
The spottings of Zoopark vehicles in Ukraine in ~2015 kinda points me to believe they were actual russian military

You should do a video comparing Blackwater to Wagner. At the moment, I don’t really see a difference between them, their roles, how they operate, and their results

Blackwater hasnt been around for a decade, they got bought out by a different company and now work much smaller scale more in security

Guys,
1:10 you say in 2014 they annexed
1:15 you say that a year later, little green men came in, and you show march of 2014
Yeah attempted annexation was following the illegal occupation by russian green men, of course, not the other way around.
I noticed that too. The little green men were instrumental in the Crimea annexation
@@unmastered6154 Why is the separation of Kosovo legal, and the separation of Crimea, given that a referendum was held with observers from different countries, is annexation? Because the "civilized" world decided so?
@@MadBlissOff Because referendum, forced by armed unmarked men who intervened from another country, can not be considered legit in any way. And who are these "observers from other countries" you were referencing to? Especially considering that so-called "referendum" happened within just a few days after russian soldiers' invasion?
@@MadBlissOff In Crimea, Russia violated the first principle of international law - that countries may not acquire territory or change borders by force. Russia's actions flagrantly violated its own international commitments including in: Article 2 of the United Nations Charter, the Helsinki Final Act and the Budapest memorandum. The 'little green men' took hostage of Ukrainian military bases on the peninsula and forced them to give up their weapons 'or else'.

Gold: 25-40% of the world's unmined supply
Coal: 2nd largest deposits in the world
Natural Gas: 19% of the world's total output
Petroleum: Top 3 producer in the world
Other metals: Uranium (10% global reserves), Nickel (17%) Magnesium (22%)
Because these resources are usually already tapped by other russian companies, Wagner is a business and expands worldwide to make money from untapped resource deposits.
Russian minerals are harder to extract and less lucrative. also no tax
did you just.. know this
While US was only coming for Oil, russians are coming for all resources ;)
probably because it's all already privately owned by offshore oligarchs with Western citizenship?
