1969 Pontiac Firebird Trunk/ Deck Lid Rust Repair. Part 1.

In my ongoing and seemingly never ending quest to remove as much rust as possible and yet try to save as many original parts as I can on my 1969 Pontiac Firebird, in this video we tackle to deck lid or trunk lid. Basically we make a patch panel to fix the first part of the rusty trunk lid and also close the gap between the lid and the quarter panel. Let me know what you think and enjoy the video.

Brother if I was you I'd just cut so you could clean the rust underneath really good and treated I made a video on my 68 Firebird I did exactly that split the two panels
