    Incredible work, I was very interested to finally see how to integrate the car into the footage as the transition was incredibly smooth, I hope I can create my own robot animation some day. There is one feature in blender that might help you to save some steps when projecting the car photo into the 3d model: under the "view layer properties" tab, scroll to the bottom and there is an option called material override, you can use it to apply one material to the entire 3d model easily without deleting all materials. I hope it helps. Amazing video series by the way.

    Maybe it’s a stupid question but how did you do the masks? Did you exported from blender or is something that you do in after effects with rotoscoping?
