if you want to modernize AFP assets better afford to buy the blueprints of each technology specially high grade assets for mass productions on a cheaper price but high tech, dont rely on buying assets from different countries, PRODUCE AND HAVE OUR OWN!
A very long research and process before it happen to be done . Hopefully in the near future like what you've said we can develop our own indigenous armament that can contribute to our military. 🙏

I have been reading about AFP modernization for several years now. But I have yet to see and read about detailed plans or strategies for the defense of the Philippine territorial integrity. There has to be some Colonel or other senior officer tasked with writing a report about what's needed so that civilian leaders can appropriate the funds necessary to make it happen. Kung puro laway lang yan...walang mangyayari. Or it could be another corrupt means of pocketing government funds for the sake of AFP modernization. Kawawa na talaga ang Pinoy.
They're already recalibrating it, though. Ang problema talaga is the Senate, palaging napakakaunti ng binibigay na pondo for procurement, and di makapagreform ng procurement laws

I think the AFP has been waiting taxpayers money. As an example, they purchased these Korean made trainer jets. Then they say its not enough a deterrent, and they are now considering buying either Sweden's MRF or the F-16 made by Lockheed. They really scare me. I wonder if these brilliant generals and admirals know what they are doing
