As an old dude, I went with a saddleman extended reach touring seat. The stock seat pushes me to forward and the Harley tallboy didn't get very good reviews. The seat you put on looks great!
I love the looks of the seat for sure, I may try the saddleman with the back rest eventually, but I do love the way this seat looks and feels so I’m grinding out the miles on it to hopefully get it comfier, we’ll see.
Sat on that seat at the dealer and thought it was nice and comfortable!
Thank you for the prompt to revue of the seat. I was sold on the look but then when you mentioned of the stiffness after an hour it made me think. Still thank you and it looks very badass
It definitely looks great and feels really sporty for backroad twisty riding, but it is definitely not a sit still on the highway seat. Thanks for watching!!
Bike is looking good. It’s nice to see another local Washington guy on UA-cam. It would be cool to meet up. I am in your area.
I’m thinking I’d love to do some sort of bike gathering/ride this summer, stay tuned for maybe trying to put something like that together here!
Honestly the seat doesn’t add any looks so change it back. Thx for the video. Appreciate the video
That seat looks 10x better.
Thank you, I agree!!
I've heard that Saddleman seats are stiff until they get broken in. Maybe that'll be the case for that HD seat. I've only ever used LePera, or Mustang seats and they're great out of the box.
I may try the saddleman step up with the backrest eventually, we’ll see!
I did a Saddlemen seat on my RG. Same feeling, looks cool. But it never got comfortable.
Bummer, I was hoping maybe a saddleman eventually would be the ticket..
Share some links for all your ipdates, so you can help us find fast those nice upgrades you install.
Great video as always. I was wondering if you still like the windscreen that you installed. I'm thinking of getting one.
Thank you!! Yes I’m still enjoying the windscreen. I am researching the new taller Klockwerks and the Harley Davidson 12” windscreen as I have an out of state trip planned for next month, but for non road trip rides the 4.5” flared is a great balance between performance and appearance!
The chrome post that that backrest mount to will need rotated to the “V” of the backrest mount. Those chrome post look round but they are more egg shape. If they aren’t rotated correctly your backrest will be a pain to get on/off. Also hogworkz makes black docking covers for those chrome post that look great.
I just saw those black wit magnetic docking post covers, just like them, will definitely pick some up thank you!’

I’m also on the fence about the material… adjusting your position isn’t the easiest on this seat! I ordered a saddlemen step-up as soon as they were available, so I’m planning on swapping. We started a ‘24 RG build shortly after you did and I’ve enjoyed watching your videos! Ride safe, brother!
Glad you’ve enjoyed the videos and it’s great to hear of other 24’s being built up, love that stuff! You ride safe as well!⚡️
Thanks for the honest feedback.
Absolutely, that’s my goal always!!
Fun video. The bike and seat look great. Appreciate the honesty with the seat. I purchased a 24 CVO RG in legendary orange. 1st new bike in 10 years. Love it, the seat looks great, but after an hour, I have to get off. I have a Saddlemen road sofa on the way. Are you thinking of a tour-pak? Chopped? I just added the chopped tour-pak to mine. Looks sharp.
I went with the King tour pack, I will run standard height sissy bar and top stitch backrest pad when around town with girlfriend, and then for road trips I want maximum storage so the king was the go to!
Looks awesome! Curious to know how it feels after breaking in..
So am I, I don’t know how long it should take to break in, but I’ll keep running it when I’m not on road trips and hope for the best!!
Nice seat . Nice bike . I picked up a 23 RG CVO . The seat stinks . The OEM seat on your bike is better . Enjoy
Absolutely, I test rode the 23 st and those seats weren’t nice either. The new 24’s really did come pretty dang nice right out of the box! Although I still like the look of the 23’s better in some ways. Gives more of a classic hotrod type of vibe.
Great video brother. I've got 2 seats one I like ( Le pera) wifey hates it and a sofa cushion that she luvs takes 5 min to switch out when she rides so no biggie. Seat looks awesome 😎
Thank you for the support, and I totally get it, sounds like I’ll be doing exactly what you have down. I also ordered a king tour pack for her comfort, I’m looking forward to putting a video together on that soon!
This was really good information, thank you Sir for seating. I was actually thinking of buying Harleys aftermarket step up seat. Now i know i better not.
It’s great for aggressive riding and looks no doubt, but beyond that, yeah it’s a literally pain in the a** 😅
Seats that look cool , unfortunately suck comfort wise. I could tell that seat would suck for the passenger.
Looks great compared to the stock seat . Why did you go with a Harley seat ? Why not a lucky Dave’s ? Or saddle man ?
I know most people will go with something other than the MOCO brand and currently options are very limited so thought it’d be cool to try this out and review it and maybe have something not too many people run!
Hey man awesome vid seat looks pissa, bike looks good too thanks man
Thanks for the support brother!!⚡️
Hell yeah man! Looking good!
Thank you brother!🤝
Seat looks good
Thank you!!
Looking sweet with that seat❤
Maybe asked...do you sit farther back from the tank... more leg extension?
Thanks
It seems to sit me about the same position!!
Stock seat is more comfortable, wow?
Wonder what is a better upgrad for long trips?
A Saddleman Road Sofa or a Mustang seat!!
Just out of curiosity why did you not use the washers provided to put onto the posts where the racks mount to?
Those washers are to space out the posts to make whatever you’re mounting to them fit nice and tight up against the outer edge of the post, once I have the sissy bar and tour pack and can test fit I’ll know how many spacers to use, or if I don’t need them at all!
@@OffWeekGarage gotcha. I’ll have to re-read the instructions. I swear it said they needed them but wondering if that’s why I was running into fitment issues with my TCMT tour pack. Not many good videos on UA-cam about assembly of the Harley ones and the instructions leave a lot to be desired. Thank you 🫡
That would be why most likely! I will be doing a video on that and have the TCMT pack to review, not everyone knows this so don’t take offense to me mentioning it to you, but if you’re not running the bracket on the inside of the bag, know you need it or it’ll crack! I’ve seen multiple people make that mistake, not knowing because you have to buy it separately but TCMT makes one. I’ll have video out in a couple weeks on it!
@@OffWeekGarageI have the TCMT tour pack mount and that was what was having fitment issues. I’ll have to try and remove the spacer and see if that fixes it. If it does I’ll have to re-do my video.
Just bought a 24 RG and the little strap on the seat was the first to go! Be glad you went with the hd docking hardware, amazon IS junk. another good vid bud, keep up the good work! Love that white on the bike.
Congrats on the new bike and thanks for watching! I’ve got my handlebar video coming up next then there will be part 2 to this, installing and review of sissy bar and new top stitch pad, along with king tour pack!
@@OffWeekGarage same, working on vids on mine. Got thrashin bars going on and a full sawiki speed exhaust.
Does this seat bring u forward on the bike,or back?
I would say about the same. It really locks you in though. Took some getting used to since it’s narrower but now I love it
Jesse, Do you do product review for companies? We'd love to invite you test out our new product air pump+ Jump starter. How to connect with u?
I have never done a product review, but if you would like to send me something to review I will gladly give an honest review for Auxito and the viewers of my channel! I can be reached by email. Thank you! jessesutton123@yahoo.com

Harley Davidson Switchback Red Stitch
Thanks 😉
Why is your friend Dan always helping you but you never put him in your videos?
HAHAHAHA, he’ll be in them when we’re doing Harley thkngs together
HD misses again.... They sell black brackets, and zinc plated installation hardware. Why not just include black hardware?
You must have never owned a Saddlemen stiff ass seat LOL. Saddlemen is known for stiff ass seats
I have not owned one, I have a local seat maker who is world reknowned, I may end up pulling the seat cover off and having him make me a softer seat pad with it if it doesn’t get comfier because I do absolutely love the asthetic and overall shape and grip of it
That seat isn't passenger friendly
