Back in May I cut my shit, cut cut, no guard,I raw dawged the clippers because we were in quarantine so I took advantage to have a fresh start. I started with putting oils on my head and when it was long enough I used leave in everyday. I shampoo once a week, I deep condition with heat once a week, and I could tell my hair was moisturized. 6 months later and my hair is about three inches, I bought a curl conditioner, curl cream, and satin pillow case. So now I’m conditioning and using leave in everyday, deep conditioning and shampooing once a week and sleeping on a satin pillow case. My hair is moisturized, shiny, and growing. But when I use the curling cream/ ecostyler gel my hair only gets a little curly and has a lot of frizz and when it dries its more nappy than curly( it looks like I just woke up and it’s only curly at the roots, not at the ends if that makes sense). I feel like I’m doing everything right, and I can tell I’m close to seeing result, so what am I doing wrong?
I don’t know my porosity (probably medium or high)

@@elementalking7345 u can braid hair when it’s at an inch Nd half, that’s around the time I got mine braided, the longest my hair been Is 9 inches Nd 3 weeks ago I cut the ends off so now it’s like 5 inches but keeping ur hair in braids b4 u get split ends helps ur hair grow a lot more because ur hair is stretched, keep in cornrows for 3 weeks-4 Nd you’ll see the growth, hair normally grows half an inch a month but you should grow a sold inch, and if u want curls u can try to do a braid out when u take them out. But ur hair should be naturally curly since u already curly hair.

@@elementalking7345 all hair can be braided from my understanding how soft ur hair doesn’t sound like any reason ur hair can’t be braided, now if ur hair isn’t thick then I can kind of understand but it all comes down to who’s doing ur hair, I can braid my own hair Nd hair that’s like mine easily but braiding hair that’s type 2 or extremely straight is hard for me
