Always love everything you do! Quick tip for how to get the length measurement, hold the tape measure where you want the dress/skirt to start (waistline, under bust, hipline etc) with the end hanging downwards to the point where you want the bottom of the dress/skirt to be, that way you can easily see the measurement without having to bend over because the number will be at the top 😊
Thank you ☺️ Colours and bold prints have always been part of my life for as long as I can remember. Even when I was a child, my parents already styled colourful clothes on me
So talented Kim - I'm still a beginner at the moment and made my first skirt with your tutorials for the first time! Loved this tutorial as well but as I'm not ready to make it yet I think I'll browse some of your apparel for when I finish my No New Clothes pledge in September ☺️
I tried this out over the weekend and it came out perfectly ...I really wish I could send u pictures Thank u❤️ I’m out here scrolling for a new project from your videos ☺️
Yay! I'm so glad I found this! I made a dress like this (you probably saw it on my Insta stories) but I just basically winged the top part and figured it out as I went along. Someone just asked me to make one for them and I'm glad I found this more official pattern! Thank you ❤🙏🏾
Beautiful dress love, love it, you did a wonderful job. I love the way you took the time to explain in details what you were doing and how to do it. Thank you. ❤️
I'm in love with this dress. Can you make a tutorial of another one with shorts down. Like the same up pattern but short down instead of a gown. Thank you.
As always you did a fabulous job, Priscilla! The dress is just lovely and the fabric choice is everything. One suggestion, if you have already made adjustments to the dress, next time just take a little in on the side or put a dart there. That way it will fit comfortably against the body.
Beautiful! I saw an outfit with that kind of top a few days ago and wanted to recreate it. I will definitely have to try it when I get my machine fixed. Thanks! :)
This is the dress from my dreams. I've been searching for a bodice that is modestly sexy like this. Thank you! I'll be working on my pattern this week!
the dress fits amazingly, love the design, you always rock it out period 👌👌👌 little suggestion,if it was never your intention to add a dart there on the armhole part just suppress that area.
Hi Kim.... When are you going to do A line waist coat tutorial.... Looking forward for that... Learning from you is so Simple & Easy....Thanks A Million for your other Videos
Hi Kim, thank you for this detailed tutorial. Just have a question please. Why did you divide the skirt waist by 3 and not 4? And later by 2? Got my head spinning a bit. Lol,
I agree that the darts would smooth out the bodice look overall, but it isn't bad enough to make someone question the design. The dress looks beautiful on you and yes the back fit is amazing!! I love the print, but I think I would look like a barn in it as I am a 1X size, (18/20) U.S. Thank you for sharing the whole process with us!
Thank you for sharing your beautiful design and pattern you hand 🤚 work is awesome 👏 Pls more simple patterns for only me am trying to be selfish just kidding 🤣🤣🤣 Love ❤️ you dear
Hello Kim, I love love the dress. Please why is the skirt measurements equal, cos I think the waist measurement should be divided into to one piece for the front and the back piece should be divided equally cos of the zip. Please can u expanciate on why the skirt should be divided into 3 Eyal parts
4:18 I'd measure for above bust, bust point and below bust both in length, then width. So that I can know how far the bust point is from the above bust, likewise how many inches the "below bust" maybe be from the bust point. This way, you can see how far you'd need to take the length of the top. I don't know if this is procedure, but this is how I measure.
Whoever your ankara plug is,has a gold seat in heaven at the right hand of God....he/she will sit between Abraham and Moses coz he/she is blessed with the right fabrics 😂😂😂😂😂 that fabric 🥵🥵🥵🥵🥵🥵
Hello Kim good evening. And thanks so much for your hard work and time to teach people like us. But please where and how can I get the pattern of this gown and other of your tutorials. Thanks and hope to hear from you

Hi Kim, thank you for this detailed tutorial. Just have a question please. Why did you divide the skirt waist by 3 and not 4? And later by 2? Got my head spinning a bit. Lol,

You can add a flare sleeve and have Althea skirt high waisted? What did you think. I believe it’s possible to rework styles to any body shape.
@@KimDave Thank you for the idea! I did buy it from your online store too. I am looking forward to using it soon!
